I am looking for someone honest in a relationship. I always thought that was one of the big things with actually being with someone, that you could just lay everything on the table and not hide things. I really don't understand lying and deception and think that it is a cowardly approach to not let someone see you and make relationship assessments without having all of your flaws put out there. Other than that I think I am just looking for someone that makes me happy to be with, and someone who makes me happy to make them happy. I think that is probably the root of everything, and I think that as long as two people can start off and build from that point, the actual hard work of a relationship can go towards creating something truly meaningful.
I feel that I am probably too shy in general, which is probably due to me being very introspective about most things. I truly enjoy having great conversations and think that there is nothing better than being with someone whom you can just take a step back from everything with and just sit there and talk for hours in an organically evolving conversation. I think that I try to balance my shyness with always, truly listening to what I am hearing and always, really trying to understand where the other person is coming from and what they are trying to get across. I think that this approach, as well as my job where I get to deal with a lot of different people, has given me a much better handle on my reserved conversational mindset, but I still think that I often try to not be just waiting for my turn to talk to the point where I miss opportunities to interject.
I think that, in my own life, I am really always just astounded at the support and convictions of my family, both immediate and extended, and their capacities for just being unflinchingly good people. I think that they are the most important things to me and I have started to see a lot of things in a completely different way since gaining that perspective.

Meet single man from United States. I am a pretty easy going optimistic person. I try to keep my world as drama free as I can. I am a pretty simple guy looking for a simple gal. Something as plain as a walk at night somewhere only to end of at a random coffee shop for chit chat is always a fun thing to do. Other times jumping in the car with a tooth brush, pillow, 3/4 tank of gas, playing rock, paper, scissors to determine east or west on I10 for a spontaneous road trip is a blast as well. There is some real beauty in our desert and you do not have to go very far to find it. Country a plus but not a requirement. I have many hobbies and interests, and love to try new things. To give you an idea of some of them I can often be found at the gym, on a trail, under a muscle car's hood or at the rifle range in my spare time. I just started taking scuba classes!! This semester I have decided to take some fitness/nutrition classes to get the path started towards becoming a personal trainer. I think that could be a fun part time or even full time job. I have many goals in life some are harder than others. Music is a large part of my life but I was not blessed with much of a musical ear and tend to sound like a cat in heat when I attempt to sing. So I will just critique others that actually have talent and go to shows to support my favorites. I hope you like to laugh as I have a pretty active off-beat sense of humor. History has always been a love of mine and I try to treat myself to a snipit here and there to keep my interest sparked.
