I have relocated back to Surprise, Arizona after spending three years overseas. I spent all of 2009 working as a Jet Engine Advisor to the Royal Saudi Arabian Air Force. I do have a wide variety of interests and I would LOVE to share stories and demonstrate some of my interests to the right Woman. If I listed all my interests on here, I would have nothing to share with you.
I am a great listener and I look forward to hearing about what interests you :-)

-Gathered enough material to write a 500 page book from listening to people's fascinating stories.
-Hypnotized people and animals with my big blue eyes. Thanks grandma or Mr. Milkman.
-Have not yet taken pictures of myself with my shirt off, in front of a mirror, besides my car, partying at a club in Scottsdale or at a social event with women hanging over me. Sorry about this.

-Can be a shy boy at first, but am a cool get to know type
I have some sayings that sum up who I am and what I am looking for; one is from the movie "As Good As It Gets". Jack Nicholson tells Helen Hunt why he started taking his pills even though he hates them and he said "you make me want to be a better man." I am looking for a women that truly makes me want to be a better man( not that I'm not already OK just always striving to be better.) My second saying is that "it is not what you do that is important, but who you do it with." With the right person watching paint dry can be very special. My last favorite saying is "life is like a box of chocolates and that's sometimes that's not chocolate."

Date people from Arizona, United States. A strong relationship with the person your with and sharing in life is most important to me, being there for each other and just enjoying our lives together. It all goes by so fast.
Trying to live a positive life with people I care about. have been nocturnal a bit of a gothic like geek most of my life, enjoy going shooting, watching movies or tv series. music like rock, heavy metal and 80's. I enjoy being home with loved ones, on the pc or gaming. often need to get outside under the stars and moon or just out about around my local area.
Have been told I can be too caring for my own good but wouldn't have it any other way. do what I can to help those in need as I hate to see people hurt. love dogs and cats. If you ask me a question you will get a honest reply. I have a good yet sometimes off beat sense of humor and like to see people smile. my book of choice by author steve j sjb could have been written for me as it seems to tell my story so well. I like down time with the person I'm with and enjoy good company with good people.
I'm looking for a life long love, relationship, friend and companion to share in life with our common interests, Walking Dead, Supernatural or X-Files episodes anyone? perhaps a late evening bbq, music and drinks are cool. for me it's not about the date, it's more about the kind of person then what you're doing at the time. Over the last 10 year I have been providing adult care for my mother (breast cancer, passed 2003), my grandmother (dementia, 94) and with the recent passing of my wife (born with spina bifida) I'm taking life day by day but whatever the future brings I'll no doubt be ready.
ABOUT YOU: Do you ever feel alone or isolated in the world even though you may have friends around you? do you feel introverted, misunderstood, different, strange, lonely or odd because you don't fall into the so called "normal" part of society. Do you ever feel like you have more friends and loved ones who have passed on from this life then you have left on this side. all you ever wanted is to have unconditional love and be loved for who you are and be free to be that person.
I find that positive and negitive energy is all around us, the life we have is based on our attitude and who we choose to surround ourselves with. one special person can change the world around you. when you open your heart to love only then you can receive it. you must not use drugs, have honesty and compassion, be loving and faithful with a certin level of maturity.
Even with my enjoyment of the darker things, some profanity (heck ya), a bit of an attitude (Rebel Yell), often dirty or offbeat sense of humor, competitive nature (RAWR), a bit ADD like, current smoking (had stopped for 2 years until June) and drink way too much freaking Pepsi. I have and require the following from the person I'm with...a love of good things, sharing, honesty, compassion, respect, faithfulness, loving, positive nature, common interests and treating others how you want to be treated.
FAVORITE QUOTATIONS.
Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with years of experience.
It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all – in which case, you fail by default.
Every 60 seconds you spend angry/negitive/?upset is a minute of happiness you never get back so be positive and live happy.
You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist.
Better to die on your feet then live on your knees!

Meet a man from Arizona, United States. I've been told by my friends that I'm the nice guy they wish they met years ago. Going through this whole process again after being with someone for a long period of time is a new experience for me, but I'm ready for a new chapter of my life to start. I'm a very loyal person who definitely takes care of those around him. I have two beautiful boys whom I have a great relationship with and are my world. I'm a high school English teacher, so I love to read and watch movies. Any type of storytelling fascinates me; I love movies at home on the couch or going out to the theater. I like to work out every day, but I am no gym rat. I do my workouts around the neighborhood. I've been doing triathlons now for the last 4 years and I really enjoy the challenge. I am looking mostly for someone who is loving and kind. I know there must be some girls who are nice and would appreciate a guy like me who would take great care of them. Thanks for stopping by.

There is way too much to tell in this short description.

Meet a man from Surprise, United States. You’re enjoying an evening at a favorite haunt – a coffee or sushi bar, perhaps – when a man enters, attracting your eye: he’s tall, slender and appropriately dressed. Your eyes meet with his, prompting a smile, which he returns. From the corner of your eye you watch as he takes a seat, wondering if he will glance your way. As you consider this, you secret another look but hold your stare a bit too long, and he catches you. He smiles. You return your interest then cast your eyes aside. Now the anticipation begins: to look or not to look; to wait for his first move; to initiate first contact.
The music is playing an unfamiliar but enjoyable tune, almost as if setting the mood for a new chapter in life. You have another sip, a bite or two more to eat, trying to act casually. You resist temptation to look again, lest you should be caught, but maybe another mutual look will create an opening that either of you could use to make an introduction. Your curiosity builds, nibbling at your waning patience. Just one more drink. Just one more moment. But you simply cannot resist. You have got to know if he’s looking at you. So you turn—but he’s gone!
You search the area around his now empty seat: maybe he was waiting for someone and moved to another table; maybe he collected an order to go; perhaps he…?
“Excuse me.” A voice interrupts your disappointment. You turn to answer the host or waiter, but instead find the very man you were looking for. Your smile betrays your relief.
“Hi,” he says, “I’m Harold.”
Harold??
OK – so my name’s not really Harold. But how many times have you met someone only to find a like peculiar quality. Sometimes you can live with it, sometimes you can’t. Ah, but what’s in a name.
But either way, now that we’re acquainted, maybe we could continue the above scene and learn a bit more about each other.
What do you say?
