Date men and women from United States / Arizona / Superior, 42 year old

Date a soulmate from United States. I guess I'm looking for the same thing everyone is. I am looking for someone I can get along with to spend time with. I like to eat, drink, travel, and have fun when I am not working. If that sounds like you let me know.

Meet people from United States. Hmm...what to write? I think its important to start by saying that what I write is really me. I'm not interested in embellishing or trying to be something I'm not. It's easy to write that I'm honest, compassionate, sincere, faithful, confident, etc., all of which are true, but the important part is proving it. I'm more of an action speaks louder than words kind of guy and I apply those values to my career as well as my personal life. Maybe it isn't the most exciting thing to admit but I'm that proverbial "nice guy" people always talk about and, to be honest, I'm good with that. I believe in chivalry and giving flowers for no other reason than 'just because.' I think it's the little things that ultimately make for a strong relationship. My sense of humor is a combination of sarcasm, self-deprication, and generalized goofiness. I truly enjoy making people laugh. It makes me feel good to know I've played a role in allowing others to enjoy themselves. A good date would be figuring out how to make her laugh so hard that she turns bright red and can't breathe. Goals are important you know.
For the most part, I like to stay active. Boredom and I don't get along well. Then again, sometimes doing nothing is still doing something. There is something to be said for watching a thunderstorm roll in, laying out under the stars, or sitting by a fire as the snow falls. Since coming to Colorado, I've experienced a lot of new things...hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, and, most recently, yoga and scuba diving. Nothing extreme, just done for fun. Went on my first dive trip to Bonaire last year and just got back from another to the Revillagigedo Islands off the coast of Baja California. It's amazing how a whole new world opens up just by sticking your head underwater. Being from the flatlands of Ohio, the skiing thing is a work in progress and more of a comedy-of-errors than anything else but it's all about having fun on the mountain, right? Style points are overrated anyway. Besides, it gives me a chance to laugh at myself... something I've gotten good at over the years. I've been training in TaeKwon-Do for over 20 years and I still enjoy it because, no matter how long I've practiced, I can always find something more to improve upon. There's so much out there to see, do, and learn. I'd like to find someone who not only enjoys doing some or all of these activities, but who can open the door to new adventures as well.
Essentially, I'd like to find someone who wants to laugh and enjoy life. Actually, I'd like to find someone who I can sing in front of. Nope. Can't carry a tune to save my life. That's the point. I want to be with someone who accepts me for who I am and with whom I can be myself. Someone who is open, honest, caring, and compassionate. Someone who wants to help broaden my horizons and maybe help me learn more about myself along the way. Someone who wants to be an equal partner in relationship where we can grow from each other's company. So, if you're active, adventurous, and maybe even a little tone deaf, I'd truly enjoy the opportunity to meet you.

Date a man from United States. I love the outdoors. You can frequently find me mountain biking, hiking, or skiing. A-Basin, Crested Butte, and Indian Peaks are my favorite spots.
I also enjoy music and the arts. I love seeing live music (anything from LCD Soundsystem to Gov't Mule, Ryan Adams to Crooked Finger...a good variety), and love a good museum as well (MET in NYC, Art Institute in Chicago) or a night out at the movies. Good food is also a passion of mine (LOVE Jax in Boulder and Denver).
I don't get a chance to as much as I'd like, but I also enjoy travelling. NYC, Chicago, San Fran, Montreal.
I love being around friendly, open minded people. I don't like people that like to gossip...if that's you...move along. Also I prefer someone that thinks of something they (ie YOU) think is fun...and then says ... "Hey! Let's try this" rather than someone that just follows the herd.
I'm looking for a girl that simply enjoys having fun. Someone that loves to explore, but also doesn't mind spending a night at home.

Meet someone special from United States. I have been following my job around the western part of the USA since I graduated from college. I moved back to the Boulder area to be closer to my family. I am looking forward to finding a special woman for a long term relationship. I am optomistic and I like to relax and have fun. I think I have the best daughter in the world.
