Meet someone special from Arizona, United States. What is there to say? I recently looked at what I've written to see if I needed to update anything and the short answer was not that really. I haven't changed all that much. I've got a few new toys (just bought a new motorcycle and an iPad). So, here goes.
I seldom get worked up about trivial matters. Life is only so short so why waste time on nonsense? I'm fairly laid back and can have a good time doing most anything.
I grew up in the South in the middle of the Bible belt but left right after high school for New York for college / graduate school and life. I've lived most of my adult life on the East Coast (12 years in Manhattan, 3 years in FL and now 3 years in Denver) but see myself sticking in Colorado for the long term. I've lived through the terrorist attacks in NYC, hurricanes in FL and snowstorms in Denver.
I travel quite a bit for my job and I've been to every continent except for Australia (traveling there soon though) and Antarctica (can you even get there easily?). Most of my travel lately has been to Northern California which is not all that bad. Believe me when I say I have been to far worse places. Regardless, when I am back at home I try to get out and find new places as often as possible but I also like to vedge for a day or two after a long trip.
I threw the hammer in college (Division I All American) and played rugby so when it comes to sports I like all of them but still have a place in my heart to watching track and field and rugby (live whenever possible). And yes, I have a hammer hanging on my wall as well as a rugby ball on the shelf. Recently started crossfit and can say that I have a new addiction. I promise not to talk about it.
What am I looking for? Great question.
I would say beyond the typical things everyone says here, I'm looking for someone that is happy in life and enjoys the simple pleasures. Independence is key and it's great if you can stand on your own. Someone that I can have a good conversation with whether it's on the phone, in a bar, or on the golf course or ski slopes. Family is key so you must like and respect my parents and my kids. I can also promise you that when we are together my focus is entirely on you. I put down my phone and don't bother checking messages when we are together (how annoying is that I ask?). I of course expect the same from you. I hate playing second fiddle to a piece of technology. :) Honesty is pretty high up on the list too. I'm not into lying or having people lie to me. It's happened in the past if you get my drift.
I'm a tall guy 6'6" with a strong presence. I do my best to take care of myself and I expect you to as well. I'm not fanatic about it by any means and expect that you are not either. I started crossfit back in January and I am definitely hooked.
I'm a positive person by nature and am confident you will see that as well. If you can handle all of the above then we should chat.

Date a man from Parker, United States. how can you really describe yourself online? i can try my best but the best way to know me is to meet me. but ... i exercise 3-4 times a week. i'm 5'8" ... 155-160 pounds depending. i love playing music but work really gets in the way of me practicing my musical instrument as much as i like to. this is where you ask me "what do you play?". hint, it has six strings and you plug it in and turn the volume knob up to 10. i'm very easy to get along with. i guess you can also say I'm the type of person that will jump in a fight if it's two against one just to make it fair. i don't like seeing others prey on the weak and old. i've been told i have good skin and i look way too boyish. is that a good thing? because i still get carded like crazy.

there is so much more to say but to really know a person is to meet them in person. unfortunately one drawback of online dating sites is that people judge others just by their written online profile and a lot of people i do believe are missing out, so give that guy or gal a chance. while i do appreciate "winks", i won't wink back. a direct email would work so much better for me.
