So now what? First thing I did when I moved in was buy a snowboard and mountain bike and I am doing my best to master the operation of both! I am happy being active and outdoors or lying in bed watching great movies on a rainy Sunday morning. I am gainfully employed, doing exactly what I love but it is a tad stressful at times. I still have MOST of my hair, although I think someone spilled some salt on my pepper. I love live music and Red Rocks has got to be one of the best places anywhere to see someone live. Seeing one of my favorite bands play one of my favorite songs the way it was meant to be is a always good for some free goosebumps. I know how to AND love to read, I usually have three books going at once, and felt this dire need to build my own floor-to-ceiling bookshelves in my home. Actually, I got an estimate first, and when the shock went away, I downloaded some plans for $9.95! They actually look pretty good! My friends tell me I am a great catch, but I just try to make it through the day and be able to look in the mirror and treat those who matter to me the way I want to be treated.
I am very lucky because of four things:

I love a great conversation with the right person. One of those conversations where you meet for a beer at happy hour and it is twelve thirty and you still have more to say and more to listen to. I love to try new places, great hidden gems, small hole-in-the-wall dives. I love to explore, learn, and just enjoy life. A good time is having a few drinks at a nice beach bar, listening to a cover band playing my favorite tunes. I can cook a few dishes. I can also WASH the dishes. I stay in shape as best as I can by running, hiking and boarding, but for the past few months have been attending this "Boot Camp" class three days a week that truly pushes me to the very limits! I learned what I want and what I DO NOT want! Lets focus on the DO WANT part. First off the woman I will be with has to be my friend. We have to be able to talk! There of course needs to be a mutual physical attraction, and that is important, but only a small part of the deal. I am looking for someone who wants to be with me for me! That someone who will stand in the rain for one more hug. I will do the same! I would rather get to see that special person 1 day a week and have it be meaningful than spend all the time together and not mean a thing.
