I am just laid back and really just like to live. I am not the parting type, I have a drink or two a year. I hate the smell of smoke and coffee, actually went in to a starbucks the other day and gagged, sorry if you like that. But I guess it is good stuff, they do make a killing. My biggest goal in life is to see my kids grow up and be happy. Next to that is to do things to help people, I feel there is nothing more important then to help humanity. I am no tree hugger or activist, I rather believe in things like paying it forward, being kind and courteous, little acts of kindness. Funny thing is I teach and take Tae Kwon Do, my last test (3rd degree Black Belt) took 16 weeks, where one of the things I was required to do was 400 hundred acts of kindness, I was done in 4 weeks. Another thing I am passionate about is women's self defense. I have started developing my own program, and have had good reviews so far. Hoping to take it further someday. I am a 3rd gen construction worker, but am currently at Home Depot, but looking to build houses, green, affordable and every 5th to 8th house give away. I work on my own cars, would love to own a ranch with horses, cattle and other animals. Daughter wants to be a vet, would love to have a place for her when she does. Soccer is probably my favorite sport, not a big fan of pro sports but can and will watch football, lacrosse, NASCAR, and of course love going to the Rapids when I can.

I do like tattoos and body piercings. If the artistry, design, colors and placement are "matched" appropriately with the person's personallity and body contours, they can be exotic and strikingly beautiful. No, I dont have any piercings....well, except the 4 small residual earing holes i have in my left ear from my much younger days. And yes, I have a tattoo and I am thinking about getting one or two more - I just dont know what yet.
I do like watching science fiction shows / movies. The new battlestar Galactica was very well done. I also like anything with an authorian theme - you know medieval times, dragons, wizards, knights, etc. Yes, I do like the Harry Potter movies.
My top movies picks - A Knight's Tale with Heath Ledger; Fools Rush In with Salma Hayek and Matthew Perry; and of course, My Cousin Vinny with Joe Pesci and Marisa Tomei.
I spent 6 years as an Officer in the Air Force. I was pharmacist. I was lucky enough to spend 6 month maning a pharmacy in MASH type hospital that cared for all of the UN soldiers during the Bosnia-Herzegovina war in 1995. It was an unbelievable experience and even though we were shelled 3 times, I would not trade in my time there for anything. I never would have thought I would ever have beers with Russian soldiers.
I really like to travel. I have visited many countries around the world - some on business; some for pleasure. There are 2 places that I would really like to visit: Istanbul, Turkey and St. Petersburg, Russia. I am sure as time goes on, I will have more
If I could live any where in the world, where would that be??? Well, so far I have narrowed it down to 4 places so far - somewhere on the Italian coast; Bled, Slovenia; or almost any where in England or Austria (ich spreche ein bisschen Deutsch).
