Meet a man from United States. I just want to be upfront and honest. I am separated not divorced YET. I had my first court date on 2 July praying that this would be over. Well, since her lawyer could not get his act together, we have to go back on 7 September! I can't believe it.
Anyway, she and I are still in the same house (separate rooms). I am fighting for custody and i was informed that if i left the house, it would be seen as abandonment. I love my kids too much to leave them alone in a hostile environment.

Ladies, I am a very simply guy. I like the simple things in life. I love being adventurous and playful. I can read a situation and adapt easily. I am a natural leader, and will step up to the plate if needs be. I am not the shy type but would rather accomplish things low key than in the spotlight. I do not need the accolades or attention.
I consider myself a gentleman. I teach my son to be a gentleman. Now I know people believe chivalry is dead. People also believe no one cares. I say different. If you show people you care, they will care as well. I teach my 10 year old son to open doors for women and elders, to put his sister on the inside of traffic when walking in a parking lot, to let her go upstairs before him and after him going downstairs. These are basic things every gentleman should know. I also teach my 8 year old daughter not to take advantage of it. I teach her a lady should never expect it but should always know how to react to it and appreciate it.
I have been on a diet for about two months and have gone from a 242 to a 226 in two months. I want to get down around 200 and see how i look. I hit the gym and have been eating less and healthier. I still love to go out to Connor's and enjoy a steak once in a while. I also love to grill! I make an awesome rib roast or a whole chicken or even turkey. They all grill beautifully.
I love to play sports rather than watch sports. You will not usually find me behind a TV every Saturday or Sunday waiting for the game to come on. I will either be cutting the grass, taking care of my roses or cleaning the car. If I have the kids, we bake cupcakes every Saturday morning. I try and plan taking them somewhere. We have gone to the TN Aquarium, Memphis Zoo and even the Dinosaur show at the VBC a couple of weeks ago. I help with the homework and coach the majority of their teams. I do have to say to all you moms that the best and worst things about coaching are the parents. If you have parents that help out, it is great, if you do not, it makes for a long season.
I am very protective of my children, so please, if we date, do not expect to meet them for a few months. I do this because i do not want to confuse them anymore than they already are.
Since i just mentioned dating, I am not a dateaholic, or i guess the right word is a player. I am not here for hook-ups or one nighters. Those days are way behind me. I just want, wish for, someone i can have an intelligent conversation with. Someone who is their own person and does not feel the need to hide things for the simple fact that she may not think i like it. I want her to say, we are going on a date night tonight, so get ready! lol.

I like photography and art, traveling, skiing, dogs, hiking in the woods and being home in time for dinner, cooking, nice restaurants. I like to read, but don't as much as I ought. I like movies and prefer quirky to blockbusters, but appreciate most anything that is well done. I mostly listen to alternative (whatever that is), but my playlist is a pretty eclectic mix. Favorites include PJ Harvey, Liz Phair, White Stripes, Bob Dylan, Velvet Underground, Love Psychedelico, Belle Brigade, Uri Nakayama, Black Keys, Broken Bells, and on and on...
Not into hunting, fishing, football, NASCAR, etc.

Huge sports fan (more college than pro) but have not been to a game of any kind in some time and would like to change that. My only true addiction is golf and I am afraid that will be a lifetime addiction.
Not much of a planner and not a fan of long vacations. Much prefer severel short getaways during the year to a beach, golf resort, casino, or somwhere i haven't been. Perfect world is all in one I guess. Generally just look for somewhere to go when "its time to get away". Love to lounge and watch movies on lousy weather weekends. Been known to lounge on good weather weekends as well if the mood strikes.
Work and the usual adult responsibilities are where I allocate the majority of my serious. I prefer to goof off, emjoy whatever comes along, and just roll with things in my free time. If your normal is the type to worry and look for a crises or issue with every twist or turn life brings you - I'm sorry but we are not compatable. Lifes to short.
To wrap up - what you see is what you get. But I'll admit that with patience I'm probably still somwhat trainable.
