When I pass on at an old age I expect they'll find my body three days later skidding to a stop having lived life to the fullest. I like to travel when I can get time off either near or far and I love South Beach, Miami. I am from Newark, New Jersey and enjoy visiting Jersey when I can, once again, get the time to go. I am Puertorican and enjoy living in both the American as well as the Latino world. I love all types of food and like to try different flavors. Oysters on the half shell and grilled seafood are some of my favorites as well as Middle Eastern, Hispanic, and Asian food. However, I can enjoy a hot dog or Kielbasa and some down home cooking.
I teach Kung-fu twice a week and have run a not for profit outreach class for the past 10 years. I lift weights, sometimes late at night due to the lack of free time and I try to stay fit as much as possible.
I would like to meet someone that enjoys life and is open minded about the world. I have played in metal/rock bands and grew up in the inner city and while I am pretty reserved and professional during the work day, I do have a wild side and I like to let it out once in a while. I believe just about everything is worth trying twice and it's always best if you have someone there by your side to be wild and try things with. I do not enjoy prudes or better than thou judgmental people.
I am prior military and love most things related to that also. I like to shoot and go hunting and doing guy things. However, I began playing guitar with classical guitar and enjoy classical music as well as the ballet (I love the ballet) and going to plays and concerts. I can be happy going from one extreme to the other.
Long term I just want happiness and joy for my daughter, myself and my partner. Peace of mind is my goal.

First off, if you don't have a picture I will not respond back. I don't have time for people who think video games are a waste of time, why?Because it actually developes eye, hand and brain coordination. People who think THEY are the right of way while in a car and can't drive worth a lick. People who have no manners, no etiquette and chew like a cow. I definitely don't need the games as work gives me all I can handle.
For those who kept on reading:
I am a laid back, typically shy at first, spur of the moment type of person. I try to stay active when time and work permits. Have just started to make time for some needed exercising. I take my vacations during my travels for work so I guess I really don't take vacation days. When my kids are with me you will never see us at home on the weekends. I am looking for a partener to complment my life and I their's. I enjoy a good movie with friends. I have no family here and most of my friends are married, the ones that are not are still busy frequenting the bars or stocking up on beers. Life has taught me to be very independent but I do miss the times when I did have to dote on someone now and then.
I like to travel and visit new places. It may take a person 2-3 days to get from Cali to Ala but it will take me a full week to do this. You never know when you might be back this way again so why not stop and look around? I like any type of water sports, especially scuba diving and snorkeling. I like to play volleyball and some may say I'm pretty decent at it. I like to camp but found out that for a few more dollars you can rent a wee small cabin and still put up a tent just outside. I would like to go hang gliding one day or even skydive. I used to rock climb but haven't found anyone else willing to go. I go to the shooting range now and then with friends but I don't go hunting.
