Date single man from Alabama, United States. Healthcare Professional,tired of the same ol', same ol', so moving to Huntsville! Just knows the ONE is somewhere out there. Meet a man from Alabama, United States. I work in the radio-biz. Hosting a morning radio show called: "Go Fish" in Huntsville, Al. is a very demanding gig, and my hours are long and unpredictable. I've been accused of being a work-a-holic, and I suppose that is true to a certain extent. I am dedicated to my career.
That said... I do get to do a lot of fun and interesting things for my job! Having someone to share those experiences with would be super-keen-neat-o, but it's been difficult to find a female type person who, after she grows tired of the concerts, shows, and free T-shirts, would remain satisfied with just plain old ME. --That may sound a bit narcissistic, but it is a bit frustrating to discover a lady’s true feelings don’t extend past meeting Ozzy backstage, or having a bottomless supply of free CDs! But I digress..
Jilted bitterness aside, what I really want is a kind-hearted girl with a sweet face and an understanding nature. A friend keeps telling me that I’m: “Looking for a custom-fit mate, in an off-the-rack society.”
Not sure what depressing fortune cookie he read that from, but I honestly believe that my patient-picky-ness will one day be rewarded, and I will find the one person who, just by her presence, makes me wish I had an extra hundred years of life to share. Someone who instills that confidence of knowing we haven’t merely “settled” for one another. I married someone I was very certain had that quality, but impatience and youth pushed us apart. Why do I bring it up in my profile? Simple… Just like the strongest drug, I got a taste of what genuine love felt like, and I’ve been chasing that feeling through years of loneliness and failed relationships. I’ve been hanging on to the belief that fate, not the internet would bring my person to me. However, when I finally realized that fate may not have my forwarding address (I move quite a bit.) I figured I’d give “FATE.com” a shot!
Now that this has become a bit lengthy, describing any other mundane stuff about me would be kinda pointless. However… I will tell you I have no children, but I do have two dogs. I play the drums, but am not in a band this week. I spend most of my free time either watching how army-ants build their colonies on the Discovery Channel, or riding my Kawasaki ZX-10R all over creation. I’ve never been in jail, been arrested, or had a restraining order filed on me. I don’t drink, but have no problem with those who do. I don’t smoke or do drugs. I am 45 years old, but look 33 when I shave. I’m spiritual but not religious, I’m very handy with tools and have no problem killing spiders if you’re too afraid to do so yourself.
