IРІР‚в„ўm a typical adoring grandmother of 4 boys and 3 girl. I cherish my friendships-most of which have been with me for many years. IРІР‚в„ўm an avid nature person. IРІР‚в„ўve been known to stop and photograph (I always have a camera with me) a bed of flowers or even wild flowers in the median of the interstate. Forests surround my home. My house is literally sitting at tree branch level. I have all manner of wild life and birds to enjoy. The hummingbirds at the feeders are pure entertainment and the owls (likenesses of which I collect) lend mystery to the darkness.
Some things I enjoy---listening to the sound of drizzling rain wherever, snuggling in my big chair and a half especially in front of a fire, listening to music live or recorded- IРІР‚в„ўm somewhat into jazz, but like most music except this new stuff, cooking with someone special, entertaining friends and/or family especially at the holidays, unplanned anything, surprises (impromptu phone calls, unplanned visits), just sitting together in conversation, and thereРІР‚в„ўs nothing wrong with companionable silence. I enjoy live performances-concerts, plays. I still like going to the movies as well as watching DVDРІР‚в„ўs at home.
I love to travel. Ours is a beautiful country with many places IРІР‚в„ўd like to visit or revisit, also adventure on/to the more exotic venues such as cruises to Alaska, , a train trip across the US or through Canada, or even to more far flung destinations such as Australia/New Zealand. On a less grand scale I enjoy the Gulf coast and the Tennessee/Carolina mountains.
As you can see I’m a “word” person. I enjoy indulging in the double meanings of words, and love the banter of conversation- serious, frivolous, and even titillating- at the appropriate time. I have a tendency occasionally to be “playfully sarcastic” and enjoy someone who can throw it back at me—all in fun of course.
I asked a friend (who is brutally honest) to describe me-- the answer: spontaneous, playful, fun, generous, honest, focused, organized, logical, loyal, hardworking, and sometimes even a little stubborn and opinionated when I feel strongly about something.
