Courtesy of my late husband's career in the United States Army, I have wandered the streets of exotic cities throughout the world. I prefer the countryside and small towns. I have dined in fine restaurants all over, but have seldom found food more tasty than the wonderful cuisine found in small hometown restaurants throughout America.
I have two daughters, both beautiful young women and strong independent adults.
Although I enjoyed success in my profession, retiring has given me the freedom to explore many new interests. I've visited many major national parks, taken golf and tennis lessons, learned how to play bridge , attended at least five major concerts in each of the last few years, painted a portrait in oils, attended Auburn football games with my daughers, and explored new parts of the world.

I am physically fit and work out at gym 3 or 4 times a week. Ran the Mercedes Marathon at age 56. Now I hike instead of run.
