My son spends 2 weeks a month with me and 2 with his mom, so I have some free time available. I wake up in the morning feeling some amazement that I have another day. I am inquisitive, philosophical, introspective, and wise. I observe what is going on around me and inside me. I love to learn. I am rather brainy, but I don't flaunt it (usually).

I love listening for owls at night or watching them nest in nearby caves. California Quail nest in the shrubs out front, and I enjoy watching them grow from chicks to adults. I love music. My mother was a piano teacher and my father played violin. I took piano lessons when I was young and have played on and off over the years.
