My parents recently moved back to Santa Barbara from Nevada. I am so happy that they are closer and so are they. I was born in Santa Barbara and raised in Tahoe/Reno. I have lived in Eugene, Santa Barbara and San Diego since I graduated from high school. I graduated from San Diego State and have been working in Real Estate (Appraisal/Sales/Management) since 2000. I manage a property in Costa Rica, highlight as a bartender at a sushi restaurant in Encinitas and coach beginner surf lessons in Del Mar a few times a month.
I have been to France, Italy, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Panama, Canada, 48 of the 50 states, and I have driven to Cabo a number of times. Argentina and Chile very soon;)

About me. I am a 66-year-old professor, youthful, fit, and unretired with four months a year off. I have been married once and have two grown children. I earn a comfortable but modest income. I enjoy life and don't take it too seriously. The last three years have taught me that bad things can happen to really good people and that we need to live life as if we are dying (which we all are).
Currently my household consists of two sons, one daughter-in-law, one 3 year old grandson, 7 month old granddaughter, 2 Staffordshire Bull Terriers, and Sam the Pit Bull. It's nuts but, fun.
I have a bucket list, travel is on it. Went down the Colorado River for 8 days and 7 nights in August, that trip was really amazing. My profile picture was taken at one of the campsites along the river.
One of my favorite places is my house in the mountains of southern Utah.
