Originally from Massachusetts, I moved to SD 5 years ago, and then moved to North County a year ago for work; while I've somewhat toned down my Nor'East tendencies I do still have them (and some of my Bahston accent). My humor is generally sarcastic, sardonic, dry, witty, punny, goofy, and plentiful; so much so that my nickname at work is "Peanut Gallery" because I pretty much always have something to add to any conversation. I'm always honest and prefer the same in all my relationships; life's too short for BS to run the show. While I generally prefer casual to dressy, I've been told that I do clean up well. I'm very creative, but not in conventional ways (a friend just read this and reminded me that I'm not very conventional in a lot of ways lol). I tend more toward quiet confidence instead of brash cockiness or arrogance, I'm generally a little reserved in new company, and I think both in and out of the box. I can be very analytical and oriented to problem-solving but I also know when to shut up and listen.
Who I'm looking for? I'm looking for that click, the chemistry, the connection, the person who somehow finds her way to always being on my mind. I lean towards liberal, free-thinking, creative women. Organized or messy, planning freak or fly by the seat of your pants, minor traits are not all that important for me; to me what's important is having a partner, someone who meshes well and complements me.

No player.. Im confident and at ease with who I am, have a good sense of self and love conversation. I have a youthful outlook and not quite as reserved as your typical English guy, Im fun and a bit 'out there'. Although totally trustworthy and very caring, Im certainly not mr average family man, despite having a wonderful son.. there is too much out there to explore and light my fire than to be controlled by the media and stuck in front of a TV all day for example. Ive had my fair share of rough seas in life, but I guess that comes from mastering the oceans rather than choosing to sail on a millpond. Ive done a lot. Oh, and did I say, Im also very in touch with my emotions, am very open and can go anywhere in that area.

When the economy crashed, I moved to Baja in 2007 to 2009 to remodel my beach property by Cabo and have now returned to my La Costa home of 20 years. I work from home as a real estate broker and a mortgage loan originator. Out of college, I taught at Mammoth High School and ski patrolled for 9 years. I love the outdoors; huntingfishing, and I cook what I bring home! I love weekend getaways. I have one 25 year old son living in Hawaii on Kauai, one dog and two cats.
