Date single boy from Los Feliz, United States. If I had to describe myself as a movie, it would be “Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang,” because I’m a little all over the place. However, there is a method to my madness. I work hard and I play hard. I'm looking for someone who can help me set the world on fire.
Even though I'm an LA native, I find LA to be a diverse and curious place. With every new nook and cranny I discover, I find myself looking for a partner in crime to help me explore. . . essentially my Sacagawea. But seriously, someone who shares my passion for adventure and humor.
I consider myself to be an ambitious, driven person. My goal in life: to finish my vintage beanie baby collection. Joking aside, I want to find a woman who complements who I am and what I believe.
Meet a boy from California, United States. I just recently moved down from the Sonoma/Napa county, so enjoy wine and wine tasting, although I am a Scotch drinker at heart. Love watching and going to movies with a passion. I work in the film industry doing many different things. Especially love writing.
I'm fun and active, love to play sports. Mainly play Hockey/Soccer but enjoy playing many different sports. Just like to be active and out having fun.I follow a few sports, but am a big Buffalo Bills and San Jose Sharks fan (yeah yeah, congrats to the LA Kings)
I explore, just in general, really anything, whether it's going on trips, checking out new areas, even just walking around (love Venice beach for this).
Someone who is passionate and caring, and knows how to have fun and laugh. Competitive. Active. Understanding.
Likes to go out and find fun, random, new things to do, as much as relax and have good time staying in.
Date a man from Los Feliz, United States. Hi, I'm Nolan. I'm 30, I live in Los Feliz, I'm from Philadelphia, and I'm a workaholic. My job as an assistant film editor keeps me busy, but at some point I have to stop using it as an excuse for not dating more often.
I'm looking for a fun girl with a nerdy streak. Someone who is positive and motivated without being annoying and controlling. I'm a sports fan, a movie fan and a music fan, and probably expend a lot of mental energy thinking about all three. I'd love a girl with some shared interests, who likes to eat good food, who likes to go out and has favorite things to do (cause I'm always at a loss in my rare moments of down time).
Mostly I'm looking for someone to spend time with. While I work a ton of hours when I'm working, I often have weeks off in-between gigs. I'm terrible with time, and would love to do more with my off hours. Can you be the girl to go off on a weekend adventure with me when I have 48 hours off in a row, but also have a glass of wine or a J with me on my porch when i get out of work at 11pm and need to unwind before bed?
Meet single man from Los Feliz, United States. In lieu of a lengthy personal statement, here are some random facts:
* I took 2 quarters off from Stanford to live in an all-male ashram in the mountains...amazing experience.
* When I lived in NYC I enrolled in the French Culinary Institute to learn how to be a home chef, but quit to be the finance director for a friend's congressional campaign. I still love to get busy in the kitchen.
* I’m a certified bartender and worked at a well-known cocktail house in NYC.
* Vacation to me = salsa dancing in Colombia…but...eventually...I have to come back.
* I love blazing down a mountain on a snowboard, like a G6. I am still a newbie though, with about 5 trips under my belt. Looking forward to getting back up to Tahoe. Want to come?
Now I could go through a laundry list of all the qualities I'd like to enjoy in a classy woman (such as yourself, perhaps?): independent-minded, down to earth, and a quick, bold sense of humor. But truthfully, we both know it’s all about instincts …
So if I piqued your interest drop me a line, say hi, and let's see where our instincts take us.
Date a man from United States. I've finally jumped in belly first. Ouch, that hurt!
OK, this is awkward to be talking about myself but here we go. I'm a busy professional and finally making time to find a significant other. I consider myself fortunate to get paid for what I love to do. I work in the ultra fast paced world of online advertising, which can be demanding and stressful at times. But at the end of the day, it's just work. Family, friends and a significant other are what life is all about. It's all about finding balance. Mind, body and spirit.
My friends and family would say that I'm very ambitions and driven. I consider myself very fortunate and grateful for the life that I lead. This was only possible through hard work and a will to succeed. I keep a positive outlook on life and appreciate all that it has to offer.
I keep an open mind. I try to be level-headed. I'm comfortable in my own skin. I'm not a complicated person and fairly easy going. What you see is what you get.
Laughter and sense of humor is must.
Although I like to plan and prepare, sometimes I'd prefer to take the road less traveled, just to mix it and keep it interesting.
I'm not afraid to say I'm a bit of a nerd, nerds are cool right? Intelligence is sexy. I am a designer by trade, so style and form is hardwired into my psyche.
You can say I'm a perfectionist, but I am far from it. It's something I strive for and always aspire to.
I do not bring drama or baggage to this dance, and I only expect the same from my partner. Can't stress this enough.
I pride myself in being a gentleman and will treat you like the lady you are.
I do what I say and say what I do. I keep it real, no BS. If your into playing silly games, please don't waste my time or yours.
Honestly and respect are paramount for me. If those two ideals are the pillars in any relationship, everything else will fall into place.
A sense of adventure and fun are a must. Willing to try anything and everything at least once. I lead a fairly active lifestyle. I'm a regular gym rat, any stress I have is left there with the weights. I've become addicted to running. Catch me if you can, you can find me running like a fool around the Silverlake Reservoir. It's important to seek out outdoor activities and take advantage of the wonderful weather we have here in sunny SoCal. I work my tail off to stay fit but I'm not a health nut.
Big sports fan as well. Support all the LA teams: Lakers, Dodgers, Galaxy, and Kings. Big Kings fan, we're finally the Stanley Cup Champs!
Whew, I think I've said enough.
A few things my ideal "Match" should be. My best friend, my rock. Has my back. Good heart. Career minded. Down to earth. Honest and trustworthy. Active and fit. A love for adventure and travel. Music lover. Has a little bit of flavor, a little edge about her.
And I don't like lazy. Lazy need not apply.
First dates should really be simple, no expectations, you are trying to get to know the person. I say grab a cup of coffee, a drink, or hang out at a lounge. No pressure and no hard feelings, after all we all here to find our Match.
Meet a man from Los Feliz, United States. Hi there, I tend to be pretty easy going, I have my serious moments and I have a strong personality and can be very intense, but I also luv playing around and just having fun. My serious side is usually on display at work and my playful side switches on once I get home. I don't have my mind set on any specific type of relationship I'm open to whatever comes up. Although it would be nice to have a solid relationship mixed in with alot of fun and intensity :=) Most good things start up as good friendships so thats the starting point for me.I enjoy good conversation over a nice bottle of wine or a nice cold one while watching a good game. I have great qualities and plenty of bad ones to although I try keep those in check, anyway the rest is for you to find out. Im not sure what my perfect match would be I think its imposible to determine that since relationships are about compromise not turning someone into what you want them to be. I do believe there should be some common interest and goals that we must share in order to click! Like what? like being honest, loyal, responsible, supportive of each others desires and efforts, and willing to meet each other half way on anything we don't see eye to eye on.
I moved back to LA a few years ago for family reasons, but I do appreciate everything we have out here and I'm looking for someone to enjoy that with. I tore some ligaments in my ankle playing soccer a while back but that doesn’t keep me from trail running, hiking, and cycling to work. The girl I'm looking for understands how important it is to stay active and gets it when I say I need to go for a run, hike, etc She doesn't have to be dragged to join me she wants be right there in the thick of it. It would be nice to meet someone who likes to read and doesn't mind my babbling about whatever book I’m into at that moment. I'm a good listener and enjoy giving feedback on whatever it is we might be discussing. I don't have a predetermined notion of what I'm looking for. It would be nice to meet someone who is ready to settle down but it's not required a good friend is always welcome especially if she likes being out doors. I recently completed a WTC course so I'm looking for someone who would be willing to go on weekend backpacking trips in the back country. Good luck to all of you.
Date single man from Los Feliz, United States. I'm a sociable, energetic guy with lots of great friends who happen to be all coupled up. And all of their friends are couples. With kids. So here we are!
Let's get the cliches out of the way. I love going out and doing things, and the Wheres and Whats of the activities always take a back seat to the Who, so I'm just as comfortable staying local and watching a flick/listening to music (I seriously would like to listen to your favorite album with you) as I am taking a weekend trip up the coast or any other occasion that's the opposite of sitting-at-home. II know...it's seems that we're ALL like that 'round these parts, but, for me, it really is all about the person with whom I'm sharing the experience.
Coming from a big family has made me competitive and always looking to interact in the most fun way possible. Recently I've been trying to get outside a lot more often, which means hiking, camping, and playing tag with you. (NOTE: these are not activities I currently practice. Let's change that.) I also dig indoor sports like bowling, billiards and poker. Not that I'm especially good at them...
I will flirt - with you, not the waitress. To her I will be respectful and leave a nice tip.
Of course, I love to travel. Within the past half-year I've slept in France, Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic. Next up is a U.K. Olympics trip this summer.
Let's see...I will not embarrass you in front of your family or friends. I'm neither religious nor overtly political, although I am very interested in world affairs. I live in Los Feliz, I work in Beverly Hills, and I drive a red '93 Geo Storm to get between the two. This vehicle is where I do a majority of my singing, though I fear that I must soon send her to the Car Farm upstate where she can run around with all of the other old cars.
I'm trying to become a better reader. I am frisky. I have parallel parking skills that need to be seen to be believed. I may mimic, but I never mock. I compose great emails. I love watching travel programs and international news shows. I also love the pageantry of having drinks and dinner with friends. I am absent most of the potholes of which ladies attempt to steer clear: unemployment, lack of car, hatred of animals, irresponsibility, addictions, ignorance, non-traveler, uncreative, dispassionate, etc. So you can go ahead and check those off of the list of introductory behavioral traits, and let's see if our personalities actually mesh.
Some other things I adore: Earth tones. The outdoors. The city. A cracklin' fire. Getting re-acquainted. Artful conversations. Makin' out. Good counsel. Road-trippin'. Steelers. Partying all night with friends. Organizing trips. Gettin' down. Appreciating the folks in my life. Goin' places. Keepin' in touch. Makin' things up.
My type of lady is one who is self-aware, literate and easy to laugh. Up for a drink or two, more often than not, and even on school nights. Comfortable with herself, granted that we all have our neurotic tendencies. A woman who can appreciate the absurdity of life, from the ridiculous to the sublime and back again. Optimistic and pragmatic. She's not afraid to look silly, but can also glam it up. Sorry...more cliches.
We'll likely not be a match if:
You describe yourself as "God-fearing";
You voted for Prop 8;
Your income preference for your date is "$150,000 ";
Your favorite band is or sounds like System of a Down; or
You think laughing is for jerks.
On a first or second date I don't desire to dwell on a litany of getting-to-know-you topics (where are you from, where do you work, what do you aspire to do, etc.), but rather let's drop that exposition into our conversations organically over the course of time and let chemistry and attraction get a chance to work their magic. This is supposed to be fun, not feel like an interview! Email me -- I rarely respond to winks.
Meet someone special from Los Feliz, United States. About me: I'm a decent guy who has had a rich life up to this point, and I'm looking for the next chapter to be even better. I've been in long term relationships since my early twenties. I was married to a really great lady, but we decided we were on different paths and came to a totally amicable end.
I have a career in television and video production working primarily as a producer. My work has taken me all over the place, however I recently accepted a really nice full time job here in LA on a international tech and entertainment show so I'm enjoying being in one place and the regular schedule. Along with the new job, I relocated to the East Side and found the world's coolest bachelor pad in Los Feliz. I'm getting to know the area, hiking a lot in Griffith Park, walking my dawg around Silverlake Reservoir, and hoping to find someone to mock hipsters with while doing that.
Who I'm looking for: a vibrant, awesome nurturing gal who I just click with. Little bit of sporty is cool, because I'd love to play tennis, hike and golf with my mate. A movie lover is cool - I'd love to have someone to appreciate fine cinema with. A music lover is cool - Wilco, Radiohead, Band of Horses or some other great band are always coming through town...how much fun to go with your special lady! Someone who wants kids is very cool, I look forward to being a dad and even my clock is ticking. And of course the ubiquitous "sense of humor" has to be mentioned...but if a gal can make this class clown laugh, I'm in!
Soooo yeah, this is tough. I'm not a big internet dater, I see this as similar to just noticing someone while out in and world and striking up a conversation. In other words, lets strike up that conversation, not trade a bunch of emails!
Date a man from United States. I want to meet a beautiful, fantastic woman, fall in love and have a family. I grew up in Los Angeles and went to college in Southern California. I am happy with my career. I enjoy literature, movies, concerts, sports, religious/spiritual and artistic truth and outdoor activities. I am attracted to a woman that complements me - outgoing, charismatic, witty with a strong will - I am honest, smart, a bit reserved and sweet. I'll be supportive and true.
Meet a man from United States. I have been told that I am easy going but never lazy, a good listener and will give you the shirt off of my back if need be. I work hard and enjoy my career but I make time to enjoy life’s finer and simpler things. Love to laugh and make people laugh.
I enjoy traveling, spontaneous weekend getaways, long walks, bicycling, and going to the gym often. Being with family and friends, going to the movies, sports, most outdoor activities and going to the beach are also how I spend my time. I appreciate the arts, Broadway plays and musicals, as well as live concerts and listening to music.
She will be someone that shares some of the same interests as me but can also open my eyes to new experiences and adventures as I will for her. Be considerate, funny, adventurous, responsible, enjoys traveling, as well as the finer and simpler things life has to offer.
Thanks for checking out my profile. Let's give it a try, you never know!!
Date a soulmate from United States. They say open with a joke, so…
A man walks into a dentist’s office and says, “Ya gotta help me, doc. I think I’m a moth.” The doctor says, “I’m a dentist.” The man says, “I know.” The dentist says, “You need to see a psychiatrist.” The man says, “I know.” The dentist says, “Why did you come in here?” The man says, “You’re light was on.”
I'd like to meet an intelligent, educated woman with a healthy appetite for romance, someone who would like to see movies, plays and concerts with me. I don't follow sports (football is the one with the helmets, right?) and don't care at all for the Stooges. I would like to meet someone with whom to share good wine and conversation and an occasional trip, be it overseas or two days in Vegas. That is not to say that I'm only looking for a date. At this point in my life I would very much like to meet someone with whom I am so comfortable, and who is so comfortable with me, that we want to spend the rest of our lives together.
Let’s be pragmatic: at our age, we have to accept that there will be a certain amount of baggage. Although my baggage fits comfortably in the overhead compartment, if there is turbulence it might fall out. I expect to see your dirty laundry from time to time as well. There's no way to have another person in your life and not occasionally have them ruin your sleep. It's part of being alive. No winks, please. The girl for me always has something to say.
Meet someone special from United States. Looking for a partner in crime. I'm funny, romantic, look younger than I am . No drama. I still like to party at 55 but I'm a gentleman in all situations. I love nice things, including women. I'm looking for someone adventurous and who knows who they are. Life's short and I don't want any regrets. It's better to regret the things you've done then regret the things you haven't done. Let's rock it, kick it, travel and have a good time. Who knows where it will lead? Let's find out hotstuff.
