I procrastinate going to sleep...isn't that the last thing to procrastinate about? Add two hours to my start time of feeling tired and that's when I go to sleep. It's my fear that I haven't gotten enough done in the day. I want to accomplish a lot in 24 hours and sleep is a thief that steals eight.
Before I moved to San Diego a year and a half ago I was working in the non-profit field for 5 years in New York City. I'm currently in school studying acupuncture and I truly love it. It's really nice to feel that you've found what you're meant to be doing in life. Maybe it took me a little longer than I wanted to get to this place but I'm here and yes it was worth it! Now that I've figured out my calling in life I have more energy to spend on this crazy thang called love.
I've lived in 2 countries and three cities in the U.S. I'm putting my wanderlust on hold for now.
I love good conversation (current events, history, how the world works), laughing out loud and often, running, hiking, camping, live music, gardening, learning, music/film festivals, reading and traveling. I love a good thrift store/clothing swap and being a creative/funkariffic dresser.

I love projects and learning. I'm usually juggling a couple projects and I really love the process of collaborating with others. My most recent project (and most dear to my heart) is to start a Chinese herbal medicine garden. After working on it for many months now, we're finally going to start planting the seeds this week and I'm very excited! I'm passionate about alternative medicine and want to work toward promoting universal healthcare.
I'm a very curious person and ask a lot of questions. It's a turn on when you can answer them accurately/eloquently. For me, intellect is equally as sexy as a nice body. I like people who are generous with their knowledge.

This is my last attempt on this site and I'm taking a different approach. I've never had any bad experiences from match and have met some good people but nothing that lasted. So, I'm going to lay it all out there and be completely honest about what I am looking for. I am looking for long term but that's not to say that I want to jump into anything. I have been through the 'dating around' stage and am over it! With that said, if you are on here to see how many dates you can get, I'm not interested in being on your count. I think it is safe to say that I am ready to find that perfect (for me) person and move on to the next stage in life. I'm not into playing games. I'm also not into going out partying every weekend so that makes meeting people a little more difficult. Online is a great option but I truly believe you have to meet (no more than 2-3 emails) to see if there is even a connection.
I would describe myself as someone who is adventurous and likes trying new things. I like being active and on the go but am also able to slow down and enjoy whoever or whatever I am doing.
