On the weekend I'll probably be hanging with friends, family, kayaking, or relaxing at the beach. I was born, raised, schooled here in Orange County California. Graduated college from Cal State Fullerton, and began my career right after. I currently reside in Seal Beach CA, fairly close to the beach, which is pretty rad for summer.

I'm a Buddhist that goes to yoga and is mostly vegetarian and likes riding my bike and hanging out at the beach, but I'm also a girl known to drink whiskey, drives a pick up truck and listens to a decent amount of Johnny Cash. Not all the time or anything. That would be weird.
I loathe bureaucracy and always pull for the underdog. When I catch spiders in my bathroom and 'set them free' outside, I always imagine they are crawling away singing Cat Stevens songs in their spider heads. It makes me feel good about myself.
In choosing my match.com name, and thus, my future, I choose the same fake internet ID always use partially out of a sheer lack of ingenuity, but also because it's a reference to a literary character who more or less becomes an accidental leftist rebel leader but then gets annoyed with everyone and spends the rest of his life making little metal goldfish in his workshop. I don't know what this says about me, other than I'm a nerd. But I'm not really a Colonel. Sorry. And I'm not really on parole either, but I would have made up a cool story about it that would somehow involve unicorns and narwhals.
I'm an entrepreneur, a traveler, a teacher, an artist, an idealist, a volunteer and, when they are being nice, my friends would say 'quirky'. I just kinda do my own thing, view the world my own way, and more or less have built my life in such a way that I do what I can to leave it a better, more just, and compassionate place.
And...I am on the lookout for someone with similar or compatible tendencies. It's really not that complicated. I'm a sucker for funny, smart, eccentric and creative. I do well with those that have a passion for whatever it is that makes them tick in life. Bonus if you let me judge you by your ipod!
