Date a soulmate from California, United States. I moved out west a little over a year and a half ago -- chasing dreams in my early 30s. I have a real job and have made a pretty stable set of friends out here. I work quite a bit, but enjoy what I do, so that seems to balance things out.
I enjoy cooking, skiing, hiking, sailing, watching movies, reading, traveling, live music, camping, going to festivals and exploring new places. I'm generally in on the go adventure mode, or pretty relaxed chilling at home reading a book enjoying some wine. I am comfortable spending time alone, but can also be very social. Family is very important to me. I have a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor when you get to know me. I love to laugh and think humor is one of the most important things in life. I consider myself to be an interesting combination of low key and outdoorsy but also don't mind getting dressed up and trying something different. Variety is the spice of life.
I'm looking for someone who is honest, funny, established, intelligent, sincere, fun, interesting, open to new things and knows what they want. Chemistry is also very important to me. If you're just out of a relationship, seeing someone else or emotionally unavailable - well, I'm probably not your girl. I used to think I knew exactly what I wanted. Now I'm not 100 percent sure, but I do know that I love to have fun and I'm in a good place - mentally and emotionally. It would be awesome to connect with someone who is also in a similar situation, who loves to have fun but also chill, explore new places, travel, invest time in someone else and is open to seeing what transpires. I think similar goals are important, and I'd eventually like to get married and start a family. I am very straight forward and perhaps honest to a fault, if you haven't picked up on that already.
I consider myself to be very independent, but when I find someone I connect with - I really enjoy spending time exploring new things together. I like to think I'm not a typical Tahoe gal, but rather a good mix of a variety of things. I've traveled a bunch, seen a lot of fantastic live music, appreciate nice things but also know things don't mean happiness, I appreciate good people, and deep conversations about current events and opinions about politics...and all things that make the world go around.
