On a day to day basis, I'm a down to earth, jeans and t-shirt, type of girl, but I do enjoy getting dressed up on occasion. I have a good head on my shoulders and I have been fortunate to do a lot of traveling over the last several years.
I am a special education teacher, and for the most part, I really enjoy my job. I don't always love my job due to the paperwork and legal stuff, but who would? My job has allowed me to have some very unique experiences and I love the time off it gives me.
Over the years, I have traveled the United States and Canada. Whether its a day trip or a long vacation, a road trip, or a cruise, I enjoy planning trips and having something to look forward to. Life should be enjoyed to the fullest and I seek a balance between being on the 'go' and relaxing at home. I prefer the outdoors, enjoy fishing, rafting, zip lining, and love being on the water.
Being on time and spending time with family is important to me, and I look forward to having my own one day. While my family is in California, I am not a 'die-hard Californian' insisting that I must stay in this state. There are many nice places to live in the United States and I would love to live somewhere with the four seasons.
I am looking for someone who values family and believes that both people in a relationship must put forth at least 100%. That relationship is about compromise and partnership, and doing the little things to make your partner happy. You should have a good head on your shoulders, be done with the party phase and ready to settle down and move onto the next phase of your life.

I'm looking to make some new friends and have some fun doing that (hope springs eternal! :P ). Laughter is a big part of being able to cope well in life... I'm pretty easygoing, but like to try new things too. I am a nursing student, almost finished with my RN, and am trying to be a good parent to my children. But there has to be some time for myself too. I would just like to find a special someone to share this life with. Spending time with my kids is a very important part of that. I'm very close to my parents as well, they are incredible people!
One thing that bears mentioning...I love to sing! And not too shabby at it... Just for fun!
I've been so busy that there hasn't been time to date. I'd like to change that up a bit! Gotta make some time for life and new experiences. :P
