I am reliable and want reliable friends. So funny how many are afraid to be honest, even to themselves. I have soft spot for animals and love nature. I am half French, half Italian and 100% American! I also like working out at the gym and doing all kinds of sports, and trying new ones. New things, new adventures, and new challenges. I like to cook too. I have traveled, have family in south of France, skiid and snowmobiled in Co. and Utah and yes, their snow is much better. I used to ride dirt bikes and waverunners down at Pismo. Never saw in 7 years any one else take out the wave runners like we do and have a blast in 6-12' waves. Now the lake and Delta just won't cut it any more!

I have two grown kids who live on their own. I am also an elected public official, and I am on a foundation that raises money for under advantaged children. I basically enjoy my life right now - love wine and great food - and just generally have a good time. My business is event oriented so I am around people quite a bit in a fun, party type enviornment. We do weddings, concerts, special events and wine tasting on a beautiful 12 acre vineyard overlooking Livermore Valley. I am the owner/ winemaker.
I also own The Wild Vine, in downtown Livermore. A great place to enjoy a glass of wine or craft beer and dance, or just listen to some great live music. For fun I golf, work out, ride my Harley and get to the beach as much as I can. I host a TV show where we teach the audience about food and wine pairing.

I help out with their sports, coach where I can, and we enjoy taking the dog (adopted through a local rescue operation - she's deaf) on long hikes through the local parks.
I'm also active in community service. I have been the chair of the Facilities Advisory and Oversight Committee for the local school district, and I have also raised funds through Team in Training for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I've been a member of 7 different TnT cycling teams, coaching 2 of them.
While cycling is a passion, and my kids get a lot of attention, I do still have plenty of time to explore the Bay Area, ski, golf, hike and enjoy time with friends.

I am pretty simplistic and easy to please. I enjoy dressing up for my lady and going out for a nice dinner and night on the town. On the flip side, I am just as happy with a relaxing evening in, casual dinner, good conversation, and catching a movie while curled up together on the couch. What I truly miss the most not being in a relationship is that time where we share how our day was and have some good conversation. Also....making that call during the day to share something funny I heard or saw, or some enlightening words I heard during the commute , or just to hear your comforting words regarding something I'm struggling with. Definitely a void there these days.
I really enjoy cooking, especially when done together, and with a fresh harvest from my garden or the farmers market. Love being creative, trying new recipes, experiencing new flavors and tastes, and digging into some good eats (most of the time they’re good). Photography is my latest passion/hobby. Been taking pics for years and I finally took a class and boy did I find out I had a lot to learn! Hey, I’m learning, that’s a good thing. Lord knows I still have plenty of room for learning in this life! I like to build and fix just about anything. I was a remodeling contractor for a number of years, so it kinda runs in my blood. Please keep the to-do list down to one page (and not by using 6 pt. font!)
I'm not an "Obnoxious Jesus Freak" but my Christian faith is really important to me and I hope it is, or could be, important to you as well. It keeps me grounded and headed in the right direction (mostly). Family is really important to me. I have two amazing daughters (17 and 26) who bring me great joy (and frustration at times...let’s be honest…LOL) , and I'm a single father on the tail end of raising my youngest myself. I’ve been told I’m a really good dad, but I know I fall short plenty as well. I really do love kids and would welcome yours (if you have them) into my life as well.
I work hard and take great pride in my work helping make our country a safer place for all of us. I try to balance the work load with some telecommuting especially given the single dad factor. In the grand scheme of things, my job is just a means that allows me to support my family and enjoy life. I work to live, not live to work.
Well, we all have some relationship experiences from our journey thus far. My optimistic side kicks in and says we now know much better what we DON'T want in life and in a partner.
