I ran my first (half) marathon a few months back (Feb 2012) - I finished! :) I've also done few mud runs but nothing compares to Tough Mudder which I just completed on July 7, 2012. In my photos I'm smiling but by the end i felt like I needed to be carried off.

I guess the most important thing is that I don't act my age, or so I've been told. I'm energetic and believe being "on the go" the majority of the time is the way to live life. Watching the world pass you by is just not me. At the same time, I'm not reckless and flighty...I do appreciate some normalcy and routine in my life. There has to be a certain structure and responsibility to keep you grounded and feeling secure. But it's when you let the energy and passion take over that makes life worth living.
I enjoy doing things like working out and running because at the end of the day there is that sense of accomplishment. I keep myself in shape for my health, and for my family. Who wants a spouse or a father who chooses to be lazy and out of shape?
