As for me..... what do I say about myself... I can tell you anything but you don’t know me so what is the point. I will just tell you that I’m a good guy, NOT that pushover good guy though. I’m not afraid to debate my point of view if we disagree but I wouldn’t be an as* about it. If I don’t agree and you convince me, I’m not afraid to admit that I was wrong or that you are right. I believe that people are defined by their actions, not their words, and I can't stand arrogance in any of its forms. I like having random conversation with just about anyone. So back to this novel, there you have it, in a round about way. Like most people I have been in love and know how to treat someone you love. I understand that takes time…and the right person. PS I was in the Marine Corps for many years so please don’t misunderstand me. To read the above and think I am the typical guy, typical story would just be wrong. I am kind and compassionate to others because I have seen enough cruelty and hatred for a few life times and choose not to add to it, but I will always be and believe in being a "sheep dog". I’m not saying I’m better, we all have our experiences and roles… Mine has just been a bit different.

I am honest, hard working and most importantly loyal. I am hopeful to find someone to share a life with. I have 2 beautiful daughters who are my world and I have them 50% of the time.
I am definately a family oriented guy. To me nothing is better than a sunday afternoon spending time with family. I have a stressful and sometimes demanding job but I have ALWAYS and will always but my relationships outside of work first.

I am a Bronocos fan, even when they loose, a Country Music fan, and love movies of all types. I also like everything from a day of hiking to staying in and watching movies or sports all day. I guess my point is that I like alittle of everything life has to offer. Life is definately too short to do the same thing day in and out. I am adventerous and willing to try most anything once. What I am looking for is an honest and compassionate woman. I will be honest with you and say that I am not into head games or drama. I also won't be with cheaters. Having been the victim of that myself I won't date women who have cheated on thier boyfriends and husbands in the past. I hope that is something that is appreciated about me. . Six years ago, I was walking down Pearl St. with two friends from Connecticut, and I told them I wouldn’t mind living in Boulder. For a Chilean like me, having the mountains close by was somehow reassuring; after all, in Chile you are always at the foot of the Andes. When two years later CU offered me a job here in Boulder it took me not time to accept. Besides the mountains, Boulder seemed like the perfect place for me. I grew up in Santiago, a 7 million people city, and then moved to rural Connecticut for grad school. That was quite a shock. The brochure said the university was between Boston and New York. What it did not say is that it wasn’t either Boston or New York! Boulder, on the other hand, seemed like a perfect medium-sized city, with great used bookstores, excellent restaurants, and a weather that let one enjoy a coffee on a patio while reading the book you just bought in the bookstore next door. It is also close enough to a larger city, with amazing museums (my daughter and I love going to the Science Museum, and I am personally impressed by the Denver Art Museum), a decent film festival, amazing beer and more great restaurants and bookstores! All in all, it’s been a great experience living here, and now I am looking someone with whom to share some of these activities. If you are also willing to teach me how to ski, that’s bonus points!
