I’m a middle school teacher, and I’m lucky to be in love with my career; there’s nothing so gratifying as helping guide teenagers through some of the most challenging, transformational, and critical times of their lives. I also teach part-time at Adams State College, and it’s a wonderful complement to middle school.
As a hobby, I volunteer with our county’s search and rescue team. My relationship with the mountains began as a boy in the foothills west of Denver and is passionate and enduring to this day. I also have a relatively long history of being a first responder, and I value opportunities to save lives.
In addition to my professional roles, I have a small group of very close, long-term friends whom I consider family. They’ve described me as, “caring, compassionate, stable, spontaneous, funny, loving.” Along with friends, I’m a son of two wonderful, loving, traditional people who have managed to succeed in marriage for over 35 years. The love and foundation they provided for me and my two younger brothers is something I’ll never take for granted.
Regarding what I’m looking for, it’s important to me that we’ve got chemistry and we’re attracted to each other. I’m looking for a partner who loves the mountains. I’m looking for a best friend who’s an awesome communicator, honest, loving, nurturing, and generally has a happy demeanor. I’m looking for a secure soul who knows who she is and what she wants.
