I’ve startled a sleeping zebra in the pre-dawn darkness, snuck into a classical music concert at the Acropolis, argued at length with a thieving monkey (and lost), sailed a sea kayak along the coast of New Zealand with a pillow case, taught a Maasai warrior to snorkel, seen Les Miserables in London three times, spent an afternoon watching ants, and killed a few innocent trees in the name of bonsai. I enjoy expensive things but I strive for beautiful simplicity: a small house with the finest woodwork, a few pieces of incredible art, a great kitchen with good gadgets, a garage full of tools and toys, a wood burning stove in the winter, and really juicy tomatoes in the summer.
I would like to say that my best attribute is my emotional intelligence. I'm intuitive, perceptive and aware of those around me. I’m far from perfect, but that gives me something to work on! I am easy to talk to, funny on my good days, and people I meet often say they feel like they’ve known me forever.
I enjoy cooking but I always make too much. I don’t really watch TV but I enjoy nearly all movies, from Hollywood’s finest to documentaries to foreign films. I believe life is too short to hate your job and I love mine. I like all the normal Colorado activities like hiking, mountain biking, skiing, hockey, camping, dirt biking, rafting, canyoneering, etc. I’d like to find someone who enjoys some these activities but not necessarily all; playing together is important but so is a measure of independence.
I enjoy working with my hands and always have a few projects in the works. I’m a big fan of outdoor toys and I kind of have a thing for tools...

First and foremost my diligence in the fight to be a dad has finally paid off. An unfortunate struggle that took me from my home and family in order to effectively provide has reaped huge dividends – 100 fold. Since I’ve been back home to help my son we’ve turned his grades around, are active in sports and he is learning to become a fine gentleman from one of the best around. At 13 he has a little ways to go, but any progress at this point is good…especially with the condition he was in when I arrived here, which was deplorable at best.

I’ve built a great career over the last few years, have earned my bachelor’s degree and am currently working on my MBA. My job with a top telecom provider allows me to grow and develop in many different aspects of technology. I am a Christian. I do not attend church as much as I’d like, but I do read the bible every day and apply it to how I live my life. I always try to be a considerate and kind gentleman. I am very humble and realize that human qualities are only true when other people point them out, i.e. narcissism is out and I’m someone who expects to earn everything I need. What I have realized recently is that this philosophy has eliminated all of my “problems” and I have a relatively stress free life.

Although this post seems quite drab, I do have a great sense of humor. Sometimes it is witty, sometimes it is raunchy and sometimes it is abstract (you might not get it). Date a man from United States. I was born in New Zealand where I was fortunate enough to grow up on the beach in the North Island.
In my twenties I moved to London with friends and used that as a base to explore Europe.
After several years and countless adventures I found myself in Barcelona deciding whether to go home to NZ or stop by Colorado for a little snow boarding.
The rest is history I guess.
I met a great bunch of friends here in the mountains who talked me into staying for summer and that was that… hooked!
I consider myself to be fairly active, especially in summer – by far my favorite season!
I enjoy going to my house boat in lake Powell to wake board, hike, relax and play in the sand:)
I love camping in the mountains and exploring all the alpine lakes in Colorado.
I love traveling to new countries. I find the more 3rd world they are the more interesting the experience. One of my favorite places is Marrakech in Morocco.
Unfortunately my worldly escapades have been on hold the past few years as I have been more focused on growing my business. However, I make time to visit Mexico regularly for my (essential) beach fix!
I love to sail although that has been a little tricky since moving to Colorado.
I love to dive. A couple of years ago I did my first cave dive in Mexico (check the pic). That was an amazing experience!
I love deep sea fishing. Im yet to catch (and release of course) a big sail fish so thats on my bucket list for sure.
I love to dine in fine and or unusual restaurants.
I love drinking cocktails in swanky bars.
Dive bars are good too - especially when they get a little roudy.
I love to hang out with my family. I have been fortunate enough to see them regularly over the years which has meant traveling to New Zealand roughly every 2. I try to drop into Sydney on my way through when i can to catch up with friends and add a little extra to the trip.
I love rainy days! I find them super relaxing.
