Date single man from Palisade, United States. Hi there! My name's Matt and I'm 36. I live in Palisade, CO, although I'm originally from New Hampshire. I spent my summers in Colorado as a child. From my first visit, I quickly decided that I would be settling in this incredible state to be close to mountains, rivers and diverse wildlife. I've lived on the western slope for about 7 years now.
I work as a firefighter and paramedic for a local fire department. I also do some part-time shifts in the Emergency Room of a local hospital as an ER Tech. I feel fortunate to assist people when they are involved in an emergency situation. I also do a lot of teaching in my career; I am always eager to teach CPR classes to the public or review EKGs with student nurses or paramedics. I'm fortunate to love my career.
I have a relatively small family and, although most of them live in New England, we are extremely close. My parents taught me strong morals and values and that is how I continue to live my life. I try to spend as much time outside as I can. I find that sunshine, fresh air and the wonder of the wilderness are extremely rejuvenating. I do not attend church; however, I discover clarity and peace in the environment. My passion is hiking, although I also mountain bike and snowshoe often. The Grand Mesa and the Rapid Creek Road area in eastern Palisade are two of my favorite areas to explore. Recently I have also spent time in the Glenwood Springs and Carbondale area. This summer I am planning to learn kayaking!
I'm looking for a mature woman who is interested in a serious relationship. I am looking for honesty and believe that actions speak much louder than words. I enjoy coffee, cooking, red wine and listening to live music. I do not have children, however I would welcome a relationship with someone who does.
