. I am a person who is both simple and complex. My favorite things in life are intelligent conversation, learning new things... and baseball, especially the Colorado Rockies. I can be quirky but usually in an endearing way, I think. I have an odd sense of time. I am not overburdened by common sense when it comes to myself yet can apply it well to other people. I am a teacher by profession and have a true lifelong love of learning. I also am a writer and have been told how well I string words together, until asked to describe myself in 1000 characters or less. I have also been a husband and stepfather. The former is coming to an end but the latter never will, so please understand that. I find myself in probably the most complicated place I ever have in my 37 years, especially relationship-wise. I am hoping to find new people to talk with and maybe more, but I should probably put up a Caution: Exercise Patience Ahead sign. That said, I'm really interesting, but of course I'm biased. =)

. So here are a few things you need to know about me.....
1. I don't currently have a job. Like i was supposed to know you aren't supposed to bag eggs and household cleaners together. So what if a little 409 drips onto your dairy products? I am blaming it on the King Soopers training program. When they cram bagging and cart returning all in one week, how do you expect someone to retain it all?
2. I don't have a car. Well, that isn't entirely true....I do have a car, it just isn't running. Something about some oil stuff that i was supposed to be changing and throwing some sort of rod? I never saw my Geo Metro throw anything! I might have to get rid of it though, cause dad's pissed that with it sitting there on the cinder blocks it is going to lower the property value of the trailer. Even being the only double wide on the lot!
3. I live at home. I tried to move out on my own, but there was all this cleaning and laundry and bills and stuff that needed to get taken care of. Lots of work! Just isn't cut out for me. Mom makes killer corned beef hash and grits, so as long as i can deal with her yelling at me to clean my room, I've got no reason to leave.
4. I like to drink, and that can lead to other things. Pops hooked up the kegerator to the mini fridge so we can have Natty Light on draft 24/7. And trust me, we drink it 24/7. Pops' favorite words are "Long-term disability payments." It's almost like we won the lottery!
5. I like sports, but this is the off time of year. Why does NASCAR even need to take a break for the winter? Can't they run them damn races in africa or something? Now i got nothing to do on Sunday afternoons except clean my gun.
OK, so maybe that description isn't COMPLETELY accurate....but what is catching about a NORMAL profile? I have seen enough and can sum it up here: I like everything. I do everything. If you want to know more about me, there isn't any better way than for you to initiate something and actually ask me a question. If there were 5 things i could take to heaven (or hell) with me when i die, it would be my 3 kids, my motorcycle, and a snowboard. Does that tell you enough??
****ATTENTION WOMEN****
This is some advice from me to YOU. Want to stand out? Want to get noticed? This is what DOESN'T WORK in a profile.....
1. "I like to laugh." Thank you very much for that information. Every OTHER woman i have met prefers to cry, but you are certainly special. Actually, i think the only women who might not like to laugh would be those that are so pumped with botox that any facial movements whatsoever result in pain.
2. "I like to travel." Any person who can get our of their residence without the assistance of a crane likes to travel. I travel every day. Sometimes to work....sometimes to the store....sometimes to McDonalds. On second thought, i may want to cut out my McDonalds travels before i am one of those who are not liking travel due to the necessity of renting a crane to get me out.
3. "I like music." Now THIS is certainly a unique individual! This woman is definitely set apart from the crowd!
4. "I sometimes like to go out, but sometimes i like to stay home." Really??? Another unique individual! And this is news to me, as i always assumed that if you are a "going out" person that you MUST do this EVERY ngiht. And if you are a "stay home" person, that you are not allowed to enter a dance club or a bar.
So as i mentioned earlier in what ended up to be one of the rare moments of actual seriousness nestled in this profile, I believe that more can be learned in 30 minutes with a person than in 50 emails back and forth. I am witty and sarcastic, but my caring and charming qualities can never be fully portrayed via a profile or an email.
I am ultimately looking for a LTR. But currently i would be happy with just witty banter that can stimulate my intellect and interest.
