I live up in Hesperus, so La Plata canyon is always an option, but I like the trails between Durango and Silverton the most . Backpacking in the weminuche remains a summer and fall highlight and I've been all over the western half of it. Backcountry skiing is one of my focal interests, too. How are your avy skills? I've got a lot to learn and maybe you can teach me something. I like going to Salt Lake to ski deep pow, but have been going to silverton mountain more than anywhere else lately. So I'm here in southwest Coloado living it up in the outdoors, but I need someone to share it with. I like kids, but I could go either way with having one.
