I live a very quiet life. My late husband was sick for many years and I wasn't able to get out like I would like. I now attend church, Curves and water aerobics. I like to walk when weather permits, exercise, read & garden.
I have one daughter that is married and lives 20 minutes away. I have a grandaughter who lives an hour away that is a legal secretary and who has two daughters 4 1/2 years & 2 months. I have another grandaughter who lives with her parents and teaches third grade at the local school. I had a son who passed away from the results of a car accident when he was 30. I also have a foster daughter who lives 3 hours away that I see several times a year.
I believe the qualities that I'm looking for in a companion is that he be warm and caring, honest, have integrity, clean and neat in his appearance, compassionate, educated, and above all, love God, kids and animals.

I like to read a lot, and includes anything from the newspaper to travel books to biographies, but my favorite is non-fiction short stories.
The sound of a stream running through a tree covered valley thrills me. Rivers are great, oceans can wait. I miss foliage and ferns. I grew up in a small town where there were wide open spaces, and sometimes want to return to that.
My friends say that I have a good sense of humor, an open mind, and an infectious smile. My family says that I am generous and loving--but they exaggerate.

. A QUICK SUMMARY
I'M a 75 year old widow who feels much younger and don't look my age either. Since I've become a widow (for 12years) I've become a golf nut and try to play at least twice a week. Besides golf I love watching all sports and can usually keep up with most guys. Love to cook and do a pretty good job at it. Also love dining out. if its really good I try to see if I can duplicate it. Traveling is such fun and hope to do lots more of it.
My last big trip was a month in Eastern Europe and was delighted with that trip. Love Italy and really loved the Italian Rivera. Would really enjoy playing St Andrews and some of the British and Irish courses. California still is great for all trips.JUST ATTENDED THE NAVY
