. I am a happy, friendly, fun loving person who lives and loves each new day of life and who dresses well for whatever occasion (even jeans!). In fact, my days are usually not long enough and I run out of time for doing things that interest me. My friends call me the energizer bunny since I rarely wear down. As far as a relationship is concerned, I would like to meet that special someone with whom I would hope to have alot in common and it wouldn't matter to me if he were older or younger - only that he was able. I'm never bored nor impatient and it seems my likes are endless. In fact, I was recently given a free dinner because I was so patient in waiting for people ahead of me - who bought the farm when I only wanted two items, and I was in a hurry to get home to watch a basketball game (but nobody knew that!). I belong to a dance group, a travel club, and a widow and widowers social group, so I keep busy that way too and they are all fun. However, that doesn't compensate for having someone special in your life. One thing that is very important to me is that my match does not have a hearing impairment. That is very difficult for me to cope with.

. Last Sunday was filling up my gas tank and a super gentleman said he would help me. He laid down his hose drove his car forward and then started filling my tank with his hose. I said why? He said it was your smile. In a million years this doesn't happen that often does it? I tell this story and people are so happy for me. I am a very very lucky person.

. I'm an educated, literate and articulate woman, but don't be scared off -- I also love to laugh, to sing from old musical comedies (I play pop piano by ear) and to do things I've never done before.
