Date single girl from San Diego, United States. So to start from the beginning, I'm originally from Hawaii and moved to Los Angeles a year ago to get my Masters in Teaching at USC. I recently got a job as a first/second grade teacher at a school here in SD and moved here for that reason I LOVE it so far, it reminds me a lot of Hawaii with the great weather, the beaches and laid-back people. It's hard being away from friends and family though, but after growing up in Hawaii and attending college there I felt I needed to try out life somewhere else which I'm glad I did.
I'd describe myself as passionate, easygoing and personable. I'm pretty career oriented but at the end of the day what counts most is the people in my life so I really make an effort to keep strong relationships with my friends and family regardless of how often I get to see them or how far away they are. My friends would definitely say I'm outgoing and can be silly, but also know the time and place to be serious. I love good conversation and want to find someone who I can sit and talk to on the couch with for three hours not realizing how much time has gone by. That being said, I also want someone who I can try new things with, bring out with friends, and maybe even travel with.
I'm not too sure what to expect from being on the site, but in the spirit of trying new things and putting myself out there (2 things I'm really making an effort to do as much as possible) I figured it was worth a try. I had a baby boy on February 9th of this year and he is the light of my life and his father and I are on good terms but we decided it would be better if we stayed a part from each other, we're better friends that way. I am just looking around here to see what is out there because it is really hard to find someone who isn't just some random creepy guy trying to hit on me to get some (as I have literally been told by one guy) "Get some of that sweet MILF action." It's gross and if that's your motivation keep moving, I'm not as tacky as all that. I like to read and right now I'm a bit of a home body right now because it's hard to go anywhere with a small child that isn't the zoo or a park, but I don't mind either of those things.
