Meet a man from Irvine, United States. Hard working executive (CFO) involved in resolving problems for corporations and small companies. I work hard and therefore take full advantage of my free time to enjoy myself. I am well educated with an Ivy League MBA and served as a Marine Officer in the mid sixties. Beyond my work, I try various things and have painted large modern paintings for several years. Not great, but fun. I still exercise regularly and run 9-12 miles a week. My general attitude is exploratory and I have an inquisitive nature. As a result of my experiences, I am not afraid to try various things both at home, in my personal life, as well as on the job. I establish objectives and have plans that, to my way of thinking, provide life with targets for business and pleasure. I believe that it is important to set goals. However, don't assume that I am some kind of workaholic-boring guy. You have to blend and balance your life. Note my Headline. That is where women come in. All men need that one special woman. Hey, maybe several special women. Just kidding about the latter. You see, I am not that serious. My ideal woman would be an open-minded, fun-loving woman that likes to explore new ideas and locations. Not restricted or limited in her thinking. She should exercise and watch her health and benefit from setting and reaching for objectives. I am not as concerned about a woman's physical attributes as her approach to life. She should be relaxed and comfortable with herself.
Date someone special from Irvine, United States. I'm looking for a masculine man that has a sense of humor and is caring. Someone that can take charge without being controlling and is intelligent. Someone that enjoys travel, dinners out, museums, art but can stay home and be just as comfortable. He has to love animals and people and be personable. Looking for a relationship that is comfortable and fun without drama. Life is short and one has to enjoy the time left. I'm well traveled, have lots of friends but just need someone to share things with. I've been told I'm attractive and young looking. Age is only a number and most people think I'm in my fifties and look better then my pictures. Hmmm. Sounds braggadocio but I'm only repeating what people say .I do like tall men, as I'm tall ,but have found that not so important if the guy has a great personality. Prefer a little younger man, as my age seem to want someone to take care of them, although maybe not all of you out there do. It is about being friends first and if there is chemistry, great.. Someone romantic, giving and loving.who can like football without being obsessive. Likes to be seen with a tall , fashionable women and doesn't mind dressing up and going to nice places. He can also like being home, cooking together and just being comfortable hanging out.. I don't think one has to be together twenty four seven but it would be nice to have a man that wants to be with you a little more then less. I'm almost ready to give up the idea of finding someone online. Some of you have expressed a question as to why I'm alone. I was married for thirty seven years, when my husband got extremely sick we divorced for financial reasons. He passed away after ten years of illness and I took care of him, After he died I was sitting wondering what I was going to do with the rest of my life. In the past I modeled, worked for a radio station, was in charge of a construction /color coordinating department in Beverly Hills that entailed a lot of driving. I still model once in a while, but it is a lot more work then I remember. I do volunteer work for the Vets, but again, being with someone that makes you happy is the most important thing and even though I do keep busy it isn't fun sitting alone on the weekends. I'm not desparate and dating just to date doesn't appeal to me. I have to really have a connection to that person. I would like to find someone that I like as much as he likes me. I have learned one thing, never say never to anything out there. . ONE MORE THIN, i WILL NOT ANSWER IF YOU DON'T HAVE A PICTURE ON SITE.

Date a soulmate from Irvine, United States. At this stage of my life, I have tallied a few losses, but I have always found that my blessings far outweigh the losses. Life is a gift and to be lived to the fullest and made richer when shared with another.
My Midwestern roots and college experiences in Indiana served me well when I arrived in Southern California in the turbulent sixties to teach school. However, much of my life was spent in volunteer work when my sons were in school and later in teaching high school English and coordinating a counseling program.
I enjoy my wonder family, long time friends, many sports, especially USC football and the Packers, theatre, reading, walking, art shows, and especially dogs.
At first I appear rather calm and easy going, but I do have an activist hat which I put on occasionally when I feel an injustice has occurred. Essentially any crusade of mine would usually involve the betterment of children.
Wearing jeans is probably more my style, but I always look forward to dressing up for a romantic dinner, preferably by the ocean, and I feel just as comfortable hosting a dinner party as an outdoor BBQ.
As for a companion, I appreciate a man with a good sense of humor, intelligence, and a confident sense of self.
Even though I have been in South Orange Co for several years, one of my favorite places in Southern California is the Palos Verdes Peninsula where I lived for over twenty years.
