I recently moved back to Arizona from North Dakota. Before that, I spent a winter in Utah. It's nice to be back although this heat is killing me! I can't say that Arizona is my forever home but for now I will grin and bear it. I enjoy the outdoors very much. I have always said that when I do design my own home someday it will have a larger yard than interior living space.
When it's not terribly hot outside you can find me hiking, riding my bike or taking my dog for a walk. I do work out regularly and take pride in staying fit. It would be nice to find that quality in someone as well. I am born and raised vegetarian...Don't worry I don't care what you eat. Just please don't expect me to like you if you hunt. I don't preach my thoughts it is just simply what I believe. Also, in return please don't ask me where I get my protein or what my shoes are made of! Manmade materials, duh. :)
I love going to concerts and festivals. It looks like I will be missing out on the Outside Lands festival in San Francisco next month. I really wanted to see Sean Hayes! I'm sure I will have the opportunity again. I recently saw Santigold in Phoenix, she sounds amazing live. The Black Keys will be here in October, I'm there.
I would say that I'm the creative type. I enjoy all forms of art, I am a painter myself and would love to spend more time seeking out local artists and events. I like being crafty and usually have more than one project in the works. My back is a tattoo, so you would have to be attracted to that sort of thing. I love a tattooed man, but it's not a deal breaker.
And finally, why I am on here... I am at the point in my life where I have realized that I really want to share my life with someone. My hope would be to find someone with similar interests and who I can really learn from. I want to meet someone who makes me a better person and hopefully I can return the favor.
. I want to find someone who is mature and responsible. I have 3 kids and they are the most important in my life. I will always enjoy going out on the weekends especially with my kids. I enjoy visiting different places where I live or in other States. I am a little shy at first but once we talk more I do open up a bit more. I don't really have much of a social life atm because my kids take up most of my time but i still try to make friends.
. love tanning and shopping and my pink poodle!!! i love my girls, and going out to downton scottsdale :) take me out for some sushi and take me to the beach :) my favorite hot spot is ra. and i love a guy with frosted hair and ripped jeans. and if your hair is all gelled up even better ;)
. Hi! I'm a hard working and driven girl and I love people who have drive also. However, some (many? most?) of the people I've met like that are also kind of full of themselves, so there's kind of a catch to what kind of person I'd like to meet :) But I guess that's what getting to know people is about huh?
Anyhoo, I guess I'd have to say I'm happy, energetic, borderline annoying, and I love to have a good time. BUT, I'm not a partier and I don't really spend much time drinking at bars or clubs so you probably won't see me out and about.

I am a Christian. By no means am I perfect (or even remotely so), but my faith keeps me perpetually striving to become a better individual, to learn from the mistakes of my past and make wiser decisions in the present. I enjoy intellectually stimulating conversation, if not a good, esoteric debate on occasion. I value individuals who are passionate about whatever path they have chosen to pursue in life. Income is an insignificant factor, but well-read a must. Intelligence, honesty, drive and the desire to be a better human being are attributes I find irresistible.
Particular with perfectionist tendencies, I know what I like and don’t waste my time with what I don’t. I tend to be strong-minded so if you are intimidated by an opinionated woman or find such irritating, best to pass. My potential partner must be equally as strong and confident (not to be confused with “cocky”) with who he is as an individual so as not to feel threatened by who I am. He must be simultaneously easy-going enough to laugh when I am being too serious and remind me to relax. As with everything in life, balance is the optimal state.
Although I tend to be independent and outspoken, in many ways I am the quintessential girly-girl. I love to dress up, go shopping with my sister, have spa days with my mom, and am the first to scream at the sight of a spider (or any insect for that matter). I believe in a traditional relationship with the male and female undertaking their respective roles but not to the extent of passive subservience.
I am NOT looking for a partner whom I can change, but rather, challenge to become the person he is capable of being, and in return, challenge me to do the same. In essence, I am looking for a companion, as well as to be a companion while embarking on this journey we call “life.”
