I have a daughter who is 27 and married, expecting twins and a son who is 21and I love them both so much and try to be with them as much as I can.
My all time favorite thing to do is walk on the beach, any beach, just hearing the ocean calms me! When I go to Hawaii I wake to see the sunrise and walk the beach, I also do this when I go to Pacific Beach every year. And I also like to retreat....spend time in the mountains and in the arms of a beloved that can be silent with me, hold me and enjoy being "with" me. Someone who appreciates me and everything I am. And I LOVE to go to Disneyland and let my inner child have a blast! I have been to Disney World several times but my heart belongs to Disneyland having grown-up just down the street from there!

I have been hiking a lot starting at the Pima Trail and just this past week I did the Marcos de Niza Trail 3 times and yes in this heat too! My dad lives just outside of Yosemite and I love to hike there when I go and visit and I would love to bring you with me the next time I go!

Who am I? I am intelligent, educated, sassy (see first paragraph lol), fun, playful (if you no longer know how to have silly fun I can teach you...if you no longer have an interest in silly fun you should find someone who is also no fun lol) and I have a big and generous heart…for the right guy that is and definitely a Georgia peach. I used to define myself as being the last of the really nice girls until I discovered what the true definition of a really nice girl is. I am a genuinely nice person but I am nobody’s doormat. I appreciate a clean and organized house but if it looks more like a museum than it does a family home I feel I must mess it up just a little bit. Ask the lady who had that room nobody is allowed to enter with perfect vacum marks on it...I walked through the room stopping and changing directions as much as possible to remove said perfect vacum streaks :)

Life is too short to have a glass half empty instead of half full I already have a full glass everyday just missing someone to drink it with me! My Pics are all 2012 I am usually in them with my daughter so I removed her and gave full body and head shots. Please play fair I am the ONLY person showing up looking like mine. . I think that I am a regular-down-to-earth kind of girl. I wear my heart on my sleeve and I am pretty easy to get to know. I was born and raised here in Arizona, growing up in a home with five awesome brothers. I am tough, yet tender-hearted...in other words, when I get knocked down I am quick to jump up and dust myself off, and get back in the game.
I have four boys and a girl. (ages 23 to 11) My oldest son served a mission in Tacoma,WA, and is married to our "sunshine girl". My second son is now serving a mission in the West Indies and just past his year mark. We are a very sports-oriented family. Big into football, basketball, baseball, soccer, and of course wiffleball!
I play the piano, (I have sort of lost my talent though) I am the organist at church. I love Dove Chocolate and mexican food, and lunch out with the girls!!! I completely enjoy watching my boys' games and my daughter's swim meets and softball games.
I am getting ready to start my 9th year of teaching preschool in my home. It is super fun and I absolutely love it. I also work for an Optometrist part time. I am just starting school this summer. Speech Language Pathology. Scary...after 27 years since the last time I went to school. But excited for the challenge!

My friends would tell you that I'm a laid-back girl generally, who can quickly turn on the intensity when it comes to work. Don't be fooled when you find out that I have a serious job, I'm a bit of a goofball in general, and appreciate an irreverent sense of humor. And while I love what I do, I'm ready to find that special someone to share the better parts of life.
Friends would describe me as high-energy and positive, the communicator in the bunch who likes to check in and make sure everything is going okay. Since I'm Arizona-raised, I'm blessed to have a wide collection of friends from every decade of my life right here. Although nearly a decade in Chicago showed me the wonders of living in a big city, and I find an excuse to escape there regularly. Travel in general rates high with me, and you'll find my preferences run toward spots with history, museums and great food rather than sitting in the sun on a beach.
What do I enjoy about relationships? Well, really most of it. I like having a best friend who knows even more about me than some (most? all?) of my girlfriends. Who knows what makes me smile and giggle and (rarely) cry. Someone who wants to keep the playfulness in a relationship even when we're having a low-key evening at home. A guy who likes to dress up and go out, but who enjoys casual dive night too. A confidante who wants to chat all the way home from a party about who was there and the conversations we had.
Oh, and let me address this "separated" thing here because that's the legit situation, so you'll find I have no surprises to come. But I'm 100% single and available, as would confirm my very good friend (and husband) who has lived in another state for more than a year.
So, what am I looking for? A smart, thoughtful, passionate man who has some accomplishments under his belt, but still has goals to achieve. Decided to give this a try as my dear friend was extremely lucky and found her life long match. I like the outdoors and finding new places to explore.
