I was born and raised in New York City (yes, still have an accent) - located to Florida when my children were young and lived there eighteen years. Now out in Arizona for over ten doing the wild west thing (Yes, NYC gal who knows subways now owns horses). I am flexible in my lifestyle, given to try almost anything (note the "almost"), and enjoy a variety of different arenas. I do lots of volunteer work for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as well as the American Cancer Society and other organizations that fall in this realm.
My career was most successful; and always in the educational field. I worked my way up from a school teacher to a Superintendent - with lots of awards and national recognition along the way. Now semi-retired; I still teach - only it is on-line and usually teachers that I gear my courses towards as they continue to fight for a better American educational system.
