I'm getting into running though I'm still very bad at it. I recently bought a mountain bike and am getting into that. I am a very active person and want to find somebody who likes to get out and DO things. Just about every week I hike, bike, kayak, swim, run, AND dance, along with personal training and gym time. The stress of grad school was hard on me, and I love being able to get out and have fun! I LOVE traveling - I've been all over North America and Europe, spent some time in N. Africa, and am hoping for China this summer.
What else should I tell you about? I'm a fourth generation Arizonan which is pretty rare. I recently moved back here from grad school in CA. As much as I loved the beach and the ocean, I'm really glad to be back. I have a very close, very geeky family. I read a LOT and always have a book on me (smart phone plus kindle app = lifesaver). I know next to nothing about most sports (though I always seem to be DOING extreme sports and I'm open to learning more). What else? hmm? I can think of a million silly facts about me (I will eat almost anything once, as long as it isn't spicy), but those are more fun to talk about in person anyway, so I'll save the rest for later.
As for what I'm looking for? Somebody amazing and sexy, obviously ;) Kindness and a great sense of humor matter more to me than most things. I REALLY love to laugh - most often at myself haha! You should like to find adventure in everything you do, including normal, everyday kinds of things (there is adventure EVERYWHERE!). Eventually I want to have a family, my parents have been married for almost 40 years now and I want to find somebody I can be with forever. I value education, but more because it implies a great passion for a subject than for a degree hanging on the wall. Life should be about passion! I don't understand people who walk through life instead of running, jumping, twirling, dancing...
