I would like to find someone who is real. I'm not into pretentious or game playing. Intelligence in my partner is important, but that doesn't mean that he would have to have a high degree of education. I have several Master's Degrees(Spanish, ESL, school administration) and worked on my doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction and was ABD. Working as a school principal did not allow me sufficient time to finish up my dissertation. Now that I have time, I have exceeded my time limitation. I really loved the classwork, research and paper-writing. Guess I wasn't disciplined or motivated enough to organize my life to finish the "big paper".
I enjoy dressing up but I enjoy dressing down too. I prefer Prescott weather to the heat of the valley. I am busy working on my house. So someone who has ideas and skills would be fantastic. I'd love to dance more often and travel. Last Thanksgiving I took my son to Rome and Florence for 12 days. We had a blast. I had been to Florence with my mother in my 20's and vowed that I would return to that romantic city with a man that I loved. I told my son I loved him, but he was not the man I had imagined I would go with. Are you?
Since retiring, I have made my health my number one priority. So I have begun an exercise routine 5 days a week and meet with a personal trainer every week. I would love someone who is also thinking about healthy activities and healthy eating. I feel great and am working on losing weight and getting fitter and toner as my body will allow. I am a work in progress and would love to have company on my journey.
