Thanks for taking a look at my profile, I'm probably one of the most honest people you'll ever meet. I'm a hard working girl,as a kid I worked in the garden in fact I even tilled the ground at 10 year old to have my own Veg. garden,I shoveled snow at age 13 also babysit three kids at that age. Got my first job a age 16. What I'm trying to say is I'm far from lazy,worked hard all my life to get where I'm at today. I retired from Union Pacific Railroad after working for them for 23 years,retired in 2002,then moved to Prescott,Az. where I live now.
I'm not into playing games with anyone,I'll tell it like it is,and never lie to you,I've lived by myself for 19 years now and can keep doing so. But would rather meet a man my age to have fun with,I feel life can be so good if you meet the right person,I'm tired of being alone,but will be if I can't find whom I'm looking for. Like they say "being alone and lonely is better than being in a bad relationship" and it's so true. The chemistry has to be there for me,and I would hope you too.
I like to travel, it can be a day trip or abroad,doesn't matter,as long as the two of us are having fun together. I can cook,but it would be nice if you enjoy it too,we can cook together while listening to music and sharing a glass of red wine.or go out to eat. I love movies,dancing,threater,sport events,festivals,art shows,I'm pretty opened to new ideas ,I'll try most things once.
I'm 70 years old,soon to be 71,I tell it like it is,and don't lie about my age,I know I could say I'm in my fifties,and most would believe me,as I'm told I look much younger. But like I said I don't lie just to get attention from anyone. So if your looking for a down home girl I'm it. I've lived on a farm "back east " and I've lived in the city,so I can be a country girl or a city girl doesn't matter to me.
It seems once you turn 70,most think your too old,isn't that funny,even the older guys ,but believe me I'm not dead yet,this ole gal has alot of life in her yet. LOL

It used to be so simple...you encountered a person, made eye contact, felt the attraction. Now it's an impersonal experience. I feel like I need to write a cover so appealing that you just have to buy the book and read what is inside. I've met some couples for whom this on-line dating has worked so here goes.......
I live in the beautiful community of Prescott Lakes. Because I am a member of the golf club, playing the game occupies a significant amount of my time. I usually play three times a week.
People are often surprised to learn I am a Prescott native. And yes, I have seen lots of changes but it still is a great place to live.
My interests are varied. My professional experience has been in the fields of real estate, commercial and industrial development. However, my joy came from owning my travel agency (which I still do) and all the wonderful travel experiences I have been priviledged to enjoy over the past 30 years.
Two years have passed since I became a widow and, quite frankly, being alone is not my idea of fun. It's really hard to dance alone!
Fortunately I am in great health, have plenty of energy, lots of ideas of things to do, places to see, life to experience. Besides golfing, I enjoy RVing, houseboating, being on the water, and the beach. Walking on the beach and listening to the ocean are my all time favorite things to do.
I'm self-suppporting but not a "nurse with a purse". Nor am I a "cougar" so 65 would be young enough for me.
