You need to know: I am independent, strong-willed, caring, and generous. I'm looking for a hand to hold ...not a hand-out. I still follow the ethics and morals my parents taught me. I am wiser, more careful, very sure of my self and my finances. I'm no clothes-horse, nor into shoes or un-necessary material things. I don't wear heavy make-up, hair colour from a box, or overbearing perfumes. I prefer 'casual' but do look good for that special night out or necessary life event. I like being on the arm of a distinguished man, even if he is in shorts.
I lost one special one to cancer. I've been alone now for seven years.

What I enjoy: Good theater, symphonies, ballet, museums, and great restaurants... all occasionally. Cooking, roasting marshmallows over a fire, Farmer's Market's, pleasing my man, listening when you speak, being there when you are in need. I am into warm. What is warm? It's a warm touch, a warm kiss, a warm word, a warm concern. Warm is what you become when you share a life together.

What I don't care for: Motorcycle rides, small boats, cold weather, outdoor sports and sports in general. But that doesn't mean you can't have your enjoyment with sports. But isn't that what buddies are for? I believe that everyone needs their alone time.

If my two kitties are a turn off for you all I can say is ...sorry! I would embrace your pet. After all they are the innocent loves in our lives and a big part of who we are. My kitties have lived with dogs, fish, and birds before. And...they are better behaved than most kids I know.

On a practical note: I believe in sharing expenses, house- work, yard-work and keeping a welcoming home together. I believe in separate check books, a mutual fund for living expenses, desires and trips.
