Now, if you are too refined too ride in a pickup, on a motorcycle or the back of a horse, well then, we're not a match. If you wouldn't like me going on a 3-day weekend trip to help my friends gather cows or to be in a roping competition, and if you never-ever want to go watch, cheer, or just ride too, then we really, really aren't a match. Of course, it works both ways, and I would be willing to support you in your interests.

I see myself blessed beyond measure with excellent health, 3 beautiful children (grown of course), a career I love and a nice home. I have all my teeth, most of my hair and everything works perfectly with no pharmaceutical assistance.
I like movies, shows and theater. I especially love a good sci-fi adventure flick like Blade Runner, Avatar or The Abyss. Star Trek, Star Wars. Other favorite films include As Good As It Gets, every Tom Hanks / Meg Ryan pairing, Casablanca, Scent of a Woman, True Lies, The Gods Must Be Crazy, What Dreams May Come and... well, you get the idea. I tend to shy away from horror movies or films that have a lot of graphic violence. I love a good Broadway musical and hope you will, too. The last show I saw was Spider Man: Turn Off the Dark in NYC. Cirque Du Soleil shows are phenomenal, and no trip to Vegas is complete without seeing one. Museums and local attractions are also fun.
I prefer (not too strenuous) hiking in cooler climates like forested trails, mountain streams and lakes, beaches and the like. Let's make it a picnic.
I’m looking for a companion first and, if the chemistry is right, I would hope to see things develop into a committed relationship. If we’re a good fit, we’ll know it soon enough and be content to let nature take its course.

According to my friends, I am intelligent, ethical, trustworthy and principled. I’m also fun to be with. I am quiet and laid-back, a good listener. I’m a good conversationalist, but I don’t just talk about myself. I am usually ready for an adventure; I am planning a rafting trip down the Colorado River in May of 2013. I find that maintaining physical fitness contributes to a sharp mind and an optimistic attitude. While I don’t have children of my own, I am close to my extended family and have wonderful nephews and nieces. I sing in three vocal ensembles, two of which perform at retirement centers, allowing me a meaningful way to give to the community in a volunteer capacity. If you are a singer, that’s a plus! I enjoy classical, jazz and Broadway performances. I also enjoy PBS and C Span TV. In movies, I like romntic comedies and action sci fi (like Spiderman). I also enjoy Saturday Night Live and some British comedy. I don't take myself too seriously, and I can laugh at the world!
I was born and raised in Phoenix, but I have not yet seen everything interesting in this state. I would like to explore Arizona and the world through travel. I would also like to share the simple pleasures of everyday life with you, and be there for you when you’ve had a hard day, or when you want to celebrate a wonderful accomplishment.
I have noticed that most people list the same group of recreational activities, and claim many similar personal traits in their profiles – we know what the good traits are supposed to be.
