I graduated from NAU with a degree in education but I am now twice thinking what I want to do with that. I was recently in the inner city of Chicago doing volunteer work for 6 months when I fell in love with high school age kids who live in at risk neighborhoods. I have played with the idea of going back to school for English and Literacy for Secondary Ed and teach kids at that age how important their voice is and the power behind it.
I love to be outside, running, disc golf, hiking, wakeboarding, snowboarding, walking in the wind! Although with the transition moving back to phoenix, it makes me miss and love the out doors more and more when I lived in Flagstaff.
My family is my number one in my life. If you donРІР‚в„ўt like them, or they donРІР‚в„ўt like you, it's done and over. I am so thankful for the family I have been given, and the friends they have all become. As you can tell I am very close to my family and would drop anything for them. They are my light and inspiration.
What I want out of life, my special someone, my other half. I get so upset when I hear about marriages not working out, or when people say love just isn't enough. Love is all there is! Everything else isn't worth fighting over, getting upset about, or taken so seriously. But love, love is the one miracle I believe in, as fairy tale as that may seem, and as fairy tale of a dream I want, I know love is real. I see it in my mom and dad. I see it in both my sister's eyes and their husbands. And I wont settle for anything less.
Don't get me wrong, I still have a grasp of realism and love. I may be looking for a fairy tale story of love and faith, but to me love is the last standing miracle left here on this fallen Earth.
