I'm honest, and I'm sure most people say that as a description of themselves, but I actually am very honest. I'm not here to "play games" as you women like to say. I'm just a very genuine guy looking to meet a cool girl.
I'm happy. I made a decision when I was around 15 to be happy. I thought to myself, I could whine and complain about things, or I can take them as they come and keep a positive attitude, so I chose to put a smile on my face. I'm not looking for someone to "make" me happy, I'm looking for someone to share in my happiness.
I love to learn. It's an addiction. I don't know if I'd call myself an intellect, but if knowledge is a beverage, I drink it all day long.
I played plenty of sports my whole life, and continue to be active. It's very important to me (being active - not necessarily sports). I'm not the fittest guy on the planet, but keeping in good health is a goal of mine. It's a constant battle that I feel is worth fighting. I've recently started training Muay Thai, and I'm loving every minute of it.
I'm not religious, and if that offends you, then we probably wont see eye to eye on allot of things. I just have a different way of looking at things. Being open minded is a great advantage and believing in one thing just doesn't work with my agile brain.
As far as my "match" is concerned, if you've read this much and are still interested, or semi interested, then maybe you are what I'm looking for.
I'm not looking for a Scottsdale Princess, but at the same time, I don't frown on taking pride in your appearance. I certainly appreciate what you women go through to look good, and at the same time, I like you just as much without makeup and wearing a pair of jeans.
Having goals is something I look for. I think people should always have a current goal or goals. It helps keep you motivated. Working towards a personal achievement is rewarding, and builds allot of character.
I'm kind of shy at first. Maybe shy isn't the right word, but it can take a second to get to know me. One thing you'll notice is my sarcastic attitude. I might say things from time to time that are not PC, and I don't mean personal computer. It's all in good fun though. There's a time and place to laugh at everything, and I mean everything.

Some of the basics are I'm originally from New Jersey, the "jersey shore" to be exact and no, people really don't act like that there. The locals despise bennies like that. Don't know what a benny is? Ask a local, they'll tell you. Moved here when I was 15, been here ever since. Graduated from ASU with a bachelors. I've traveled to Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France and been about to every state in the US. Top 5 favorite cities visited are: Huntington Beach, CA - New Orleans, LA - NYC, NY - Boston, MA and Pittsburgh, PA. Arizona isn't too bad, I can ride all year round but I want to move to Southern California in the next 5 years or so. Other than that, I'm pretty laid back. I get antsy sitting at home a lot so I like an equal balance of going out to staying in. I'll do about anything once just to see if I like it. I work out and eat right rather religiously, so I'd like to meet people trying to to do the same. I'm not looking for anything too serious right now but I'm very open minded what the future can and will bring. So if you're one that hates the sound of the banjo, I'm probably not for you. For me though, I absolutely love it. Anyways.... I'm a 32 year old single father of an awesome 6 year old son. I have primary physical and sole legal custody of him so more often than not, it's the two of us against the world! Lol... we're not really against the world, we just have a lot of fun...
We're boys so we like to get dirty, be outside, camp, hike, explore, swim in creeks (if a pool isn't readily available), and anything else we can get into...
I don't watch a lot of tv, I'd rather read (actually I prefer the "old-school" book reading, not this whole e-book thing) or actually get out and do something, be it just me, or my son and I both... Life's too busy to sit and watch others live it in some unrealistic reality!
I'm definitely not like most men...I am far more experienced in life than you could assume by me being 31... I've been through a lot, but I have been able to turn anything bad that's happened into a learning opportunity... I am passionate, resilient, and I know what I want in life...
I am spontaneous, I can be quirky, I can be a goof-ball, I enjoy making other people laugh, I love being outdoors, and I try to approach life with an open heart (as well as an open mind) to take in any experience the fates decide to throw in my direction.
One last thing...
I am huge on honesty and open communication... I absolutely detest when someone lies to me, and more often than not I know when it's happening. I'm very good at reading people, sometimes better than people can read themselves... Call it a gift... call it a curse... I just know I can do it.
So just be honest, all the time, and everything will flow naturally. I don't care if you're worried you'll hurt my feelings or not, just be open with the communication..."even if it hurts."
