Meet a man from Gilbert, United States. LIfe is good. I love being a teacher, because it is so much fun. I keep students awake with an unusual sense of humor and by playing pranks on them. I also enjoy doing research. Even more, I love being a Dad. I spend a lot of time with my six year old daughter. My daughter's voice is music to my ears even when it is 6:00 a.m. on Saturday morning and she comes into my bedroom and wakes me up by shaking me and saying, "Dad come play with me."
A few statements summarize my philosophy. My Mom says: "You can do anything you want, if you work hard enough." My brother says, "A man who is happy with his lot is truly wealthy." I frequently tell my daughter, "The biggest problem with life is that there are too many good things to do." I am an optimist. I believe that we control our own futures (for the most part).
I am happy with my life, but I want more. I want a woman to join me for movies, dinners, and travel. I also want company for relaxing evenings at home. My goal is to develop a long term relationship. I do not need a mother for my daughter. My daughter already spends half of her time with her biological mother. However. I do want someone who is family oriented. She should like children. It would be even better if she also has children. Currently, I enjoy taking my daughter on many adventures. I would love to go on future adventures as a more complete family.
I was raised in rural Wisconsin. When I was a child, my Dad took me on many adventures. We visited zoos, aquariums, museums, parks, and lakes. He also took us on car camping trips every summer. Those car camping trips filled me with a spirit of adventure. Over the years, I have visited many historic sites in: Cairo, Jerusalem, Athens, Rome, Pompeii, Florence, Pisa, Venice, Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, Dubrovnik, Stockholm, Tokyo and other cities. I have also climbed a couple of mountains and a couple of volcanoes.
Last September I took my daughter on her first car camping trip. We visited the Grand Canyon. As we hiked in, my daughter kept saying, "All the way to the bottom." Although I had previously hiked to the bottom, this time I restricted our hike to one mile. We had so much fun that she did not want to leave. This spring, we visited Disneyland. We had a great time there too even though my daughter got into a fight with Darth Vader. Two weeks ago, we went to the Van Gogh show at the Science Center in Phoenix. About half way through the show, both my daughter and her friend said, "This is boring." Therefore, we went on to the rest of the museum and had a good day. On the way out of the museum, we received special glasses for viewing the solar eclipse, The three of us saw each stage including the peak of the eclipse. This summer I plan to take my daughter to Wisconsin and to a beach in San Diego.
