Random thoughts... I guess I'm the strong, silent type - there's enough drama in the financial markets on a regular basis for me, so I don't seek it or show it much away from the office. Doesn't mean I'm closed up, but the drinking nights are over and done, and you won't find me jumping off bridges or on an ATV in the middle of BF nowhere. (Can we just go to Hawaii for a week instead?) Besides work, my only real passions are travel, football, good food, and good conversation. Vegas calls out to me every 3-4 months ("Paul, come and get their money" - sometimes Vegas lies), but I go more for the restaurants and entertainment than the clubs and alcohol. Spur-of-the-moment road trips to Cali have become one of my trademarks - I guess I'd live over there if I wanted to spend my life on the freeway. January is Maui Month on my calendar (not the whole month, mind you). Used to golf a bunch, got discouraged after seeing Tiger play up close. I'm also pretty satisfied staying at home, firing up the grill, hitting the pool and hot tub, and watching CSI and/or The Daily Show. Hoping to meet a travel (and life) companion who can take life's little bumps in stride and who is comfortable in a perfectly good silent moment. Yeah, I've been with a couple chatterboxes who had to show me every two minutes they were smarter, wittier, and better than me - I guess they were. It will be your class and smile that turn me on the most. I'm not a snob, but you've got to have a little class, which is a commodity I've found lacking in Arizona, mostly, I guess, because the bar is set just way too low here. That which is good appears as boastful and becomes unattractive even though it is favorable. The only true test is interaction. I am of a diverse ethnic background - mostly Caucasian and Okinawan/Japanese. According to my Yahoo personality test I am categorized as a "Giver". The description of which seems a bit lame. I really do not take those test results too seriously- unless they actually help in finding a match. So it may worth while. Hopefully, others will try it too and find it helpful.
By profession, I am a freelance prototyper (Sculptor) and alternately a construction worker.
My interests include, but are not limited to; Arts, photography, movies, Family activities, music, outdoor activities, religion, Computers- Internet, science, history, philosophy, and film-making arts. What I am looking for:
I value humor, intellect (not too much or I may nod off :) honesty and loyalty. I give as good as I get, it is the only fair way to be. I'm hoping to meet someone with at least a little common sense and humor. A little common sense goes a long way and intelligent people can find common ground even in their differences of opinion. Someone with at least a little common sense and a good heart is an absolute must. Physical attractiveness is always a plus but it is not more important than character. Someone with diverse interests would also be a plus. You know, the usual. ;)
I prefer someone who has never been married since I also have not and someone who does not yet have children.
