Spending time with family, and good friends is very important to me and I share them well with new people
in mIy life.
Eating healthfully and exercising, are essential for me, and I make the effort to stay fit. I would like my partner to value this as well. I often consider both alternative and traditional medicine when dealing with health. I walk, swim, dance, do yoga and Pilates, and also work out at the gym…the latter, honestly, a bit hit and miss!
However, since life is all about balance (isn't it?), I love my indulgences too.
I really enjoy frequenting ethnic restaurants as well as cooking at home, which I have found is much more fun with a friend! Having animated, intelligent conversation, in any location, is most welcome!
The visual and performing arts have been integral parts of my life since childhood. I enjoy film, theatre, dance, art, photography, and music.

My careers have included teaching, managing my own tile design business, and working the area of social services. I earned an MA degree from NYU, in New York, where I was raised.
I have volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, and for a literacy organization. I have a Registered Therapy Dog who serves the San Diego community in several capacities.
I live in a beautiful environment that keeps me busy with house projects and gardening. I know that spontaneity can bring excitement and I am game to take off for some new adventure, at a moments notice.
I am both a city mouse and a country mouse and love them both for all the things each has to offer. I have traveled little, and look forward to doing more of that. I did spend an entire year in Mexico, Central and South America, but it was a long time ago.
