I'm easy going, pretty easy to please, don't like confrontation, but can hold my own when necessary. I communicate well, I think. I'm organized, like to entertain a bit. I'm into my family and a few close friends. I like most kinds of music and will go to concerts. I'm from a large family and we are very close, which I'm finding is unusual.
I'd like to meet a nice guy who has a great sense of humor, who is neat and clean with nice teeth (okay, one weird thing about me is I appreciate a man who flosses :)) Someone to try new places with or just enjoy being home puttering around, maybe cooking together, talking or not talking and floating in the pool with a nice glass of an adult beverage or just watching a monsoon would be cool.

I've had an interesting life with some huge ups and downs. I understand that doesn't build character, but reveals it. I have a lot of character.
A gentleman told me once that when he asked about me, my friends described me as a great gal. Well, a couple only said I was a good person and my best friend just said "I'm alright." None the less, you'll really need to find all that out for yourself. I'm courteous, respectful, quietly assertive, loyal and monogamous. I've been told I'm a girly girl. I'm ambitious, successful, and goal oriented. One of my goals is to know how forever feels.
Unfortunately for me, unlike most of the people on this site, I don't look 10 years younger than my stated age. Fortunately for me, even though I look my age, I look better than most gals 10 years younger than me. Of course the last statement was a statement of opinion, and may not stand up under careful scrutiny. Also, I read where everyone here is well read, well educated and well traveled. I don't even know what that means exactly, and I can't find a place to look up the definitions ...... so I can judge for myself.

Well Educated? I can differentiate between what I know and what I don't know.
Well Traveled? I've been around the block a time or two.
I'd love to meet a man who is attractive to me. I love men who are assertive and self confident. I like men my own age /- a few years. Lots of men look great in their 30's and 40's, but a handsome man in his 60's is truly breathtaking. I'm looking for a man that makes my heart beat a little faster with anticipation as I'm waiting for him to pick me up. The kind that the thought of him during the day put's a smile on my face. One who makes me want to stop to text sweet sentiments just because. Someone who understands life's ups and downs and would rather be supportive than critical. Someone that realizes and accepts the fact we all have baggage and is willing to be patient with the occasional resulting behavior. I'm looking for the real deal. I read somewhere you don't find the real deal, it finds you. (Find me darn it!) I'd love to have a friend ask me about him and be able to say that "Meeting him is the one of the very best things that has ever happened to me"

I am a very independent woman but still love the feeling of having someone around to care about me. Not afraid of a good adventure and love to travel. Family is very dear to me. Came from a large family of 11. (My parents were very busy) Having a large family I would like to take the time to travel and see them.

I Volunteer with Hospice but before that - well - thoroughly enjoy all sorts of crafts and got involved with a wholesale craft company; started and ran a furniture and accessory business (but I admit I don't like being involved in sales). I enjoy being and interacting with others and believe that something as simple as a smile can make the day a little easier for all of us.

Date someone special from Arizona, United States. Recently relocated to Arizona. Moved from the Midwest, and couldn't be happier with the end result. Can be cold in the desert, but nothing like the wind, ice, snow and slush of what is now behind me.
