So, first I will tell you a little about myself. I am a workaholic (often working 16hour days) but love what I do! I am a glass half full kinda person and try to be optimistic about things vs. pointing out the negative (I'm not saying I don't have my moments of "to tell with this place!?!" but I do try to keep those moments to a minimum- lol). . I am very independent, determined, very goal orientated and I'm always striving to the top and believe that hard work and perseverance is key to getting there.
I am a big animal lover (growing up it was all about my stuffed animals...didn't really care for the Barbies- lol). I have 3 cats and they are my babies! I rescued them when they were kittens and they mean the world to me. I have always grown up with pets (mostly dogs and as I got older, cats) I have very strong views on protecting animals and used to be a Vegan for several years (I do eat meat now but I am thinking of going back to vegetarian, eventually Vegan). I try not to use unnecessary products that have been tested on animals, absolutely do not want agree with wearing furs, purchasing snake skin purses, ect ect. and I am absolutely against hunting for game purposes! As I'm sure you can tell, I could go on in this field but I think you get the jest!
When I am not working I enjoy staying active and mostly being outdoors during the warm months. During the wintertime, I would much rather be inside somewhere warm sipping a cup of coco and playing a clever game of chess or good game of cards ; )
Now that I've told you a little more about myself, here is what I am looking for.....
I am looking for someone that is confident (but not arrogant), hard-working and successful (already accomplished in his career), independent, loyal, understanding, loving, takes life seriously but not too serious if you know what I mean, and looks at the glass as half full, not half empty.
We have to have chemistry and good flowing conversation. I am a talker, so someone that enjoys a good conversation is a must! I enjoy being with someone who loves to spend time with each other when not working but also understands and respects the need for "me time/personal space". Whether it's me wanting to go shopping and walk around for a few hours alone or him wanting to go watch a game with his buddies for a few hours (it works both ways), that is very important to me. Trust is also very important! I will not tolerate someone who is jealous and obsessive and/or plays little games (I can explain this in more detail if needed ;).
I am looking for someone who's idea of fun times does not revolve around partying and getting drunk with friends. Someone who shares the same outdoor interest and past times as myself, who's also looking to settle down and hopefully one day start a family.
