I have done volunteer work on behalf of diabetes for most of my adult life here in the USA as a nurse and president of the American Diabetes Assoc with the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and..also traveling to Central Mexico, Honduras, China, Outer Mongolia..and Houston Astrodome on behalf of peple with diabetes.. I like to watch my grandchildren learn to bake cookies and also carve them tree chairs..in my garden.. I like to wake up with their small arms..on my neck..sharing a blow up mattress..on the family room floor..I love to watch a man eat my food..I have been told I am a great cook..I think you can tell a lot about a man by how he eats..If he has passion at the table..he has passion in the rest of his life..If a man spits food..out of his mouth..while eating or has ever kicked a dog....welllll....here's the door...fella...(of course..this is a long story for another day..ha)
.I can make a nice souffle...as well as homemade tamales..and my friends talk about..my pretty awesome potato soup and corn bread. I have hosted and catered many of our large family celebrations. this I did with great joy..no matter the..occasion. I am comfortable in a variety of situations.. whether it is creating a new business model..or creating a lovely new room or space to share with others. .(I can slop the pigs and milk the cows...if this should ever come up..ha)...I love antiques and making a home comfortable and warm and full ..I do not like a fussy house...as I feel that ...feet should be welcomed on the coffee table...something I learned from my children.
I get spa treatments. have my nails done...take good care of my skin and hair.I love fashion both..casual and dressy.. I pamper my own spirit. and I indulge my own fantasies.
