I like to travel. For me it is easy to just say "I'm going there next month" and take off for 4 or 5 days and go. Just me and my 88 year old cat, Iggy. He is a trooper and doesn't mind getting away from me for a few days. I suspect he has the neighbor cats over for a card game while I'm away...as long as he's winning.
It is hard to categorize yourself into a few labels. I like a lot of things, but I don't know everything I like because I haven't experienced everything. I know I like music, books, good movies (especially classics), people, life, laughing, ad infinitum. I like Truth and I really don't like being lied to.
I like to write and have been writing quite a bit over the last year - mainly poetry.
My home is my refuge and although I have plenty of friends, I like to sometimes just stay home a few evenings and enjoy peace and quiet...listening to music or reading a good book or watching an old classic.
I have a wonderful son that is in college. He is a great young man and I see him being very successful in his life. I just need to get him to cut his hair! :)
