A few things about me: I am the mother of the most outgoing, smart, creative, absolute Wonderful six year yr. old girl anyone could ever have! I strive everyday to better myself and live a positive, healthy, active lifestyle, not only for my benefit, but to show and set a good example for my daughter. I just got my first pet that I bought and raised from a puppy. A mini. Dachshund named "Millie" who is my second baby. I am a very outgoing, honest, woman. I love pulling on my tennis shoes and Ipod clearing my mind as I run down the road or trail. Music is very Big in my life. I always have music on in my house rather than the T.V. I love everything, but rap and not real big on country. I prefer laid back music such as Van Morrison, Jack Johnson, Eddie Veddar, Brett Dennen, Otis Redding, Avett Brothers, Neil Young, Colbie Caillat, etc...I love anything that involves an acuostic guitar and absolutely Love Music Festivals!
In my college days I was very active in camping, canoeing, backpacking, rafting really anything outdoors. My daughter has started to take up these activities this past year so I am slowly getting back into them. There's nothing better than being outside in the wide open under the stars, with a bonfire and good company. I love the simple things in life such as having fresh flowers in my house(Iris and Lillies) being my favorite, the smell of fresh laundry, newly cut grass, a new sweet baby, and nothing like the smell of a man's cologne. I love a good cup of Joe freshly brewed in the morning, a glass or two of wine after a Long day. I prefer Black and White pictures to colored. I'm drawn to and will have an older home. The architexture and feel of an older home gives me a warm, cozy feel. My favorite seasons are Fall and Spring. Fall of course bc of Football and family gatherings, the leaves changing, crisp air, taking a weekend trip to the mountains and staying in a quite little cabin. A good cup of homemade hot chocholate. Spring brings fresh flowers and greenery, perfect weather, and being able to pull out my Chacos to let my feet breath again lol, Farmers Market for fresh fruit and vegetables.
Im not into bars, I prefer a brewpub with a good band or of course nothing like being at a friends house grilling out. I'm just starting a new job working with young children and adolescents with severe behavioral problems. I love what I do and hope that I am able to help the kids only if it's by letting them vent their frustration on me.
Who Im looking for: As I have grown older and wiser I learned what I was taught about "Not judging a book by it's cover" is sometimes very true.
