. Well- this is me. Or at least as much of me that can be fit into this space. I am 30 years old. :) I live close to Gadsden, AL where I am a teacher in an elementary school. I have been teaching for 9 years, and so far have fought off all those annoying teacher habits (like wearing the embroidered sweater vests for every season/holiday,) and completely love my job. I'm a little obsessed with it sometimes and have to be told occasionally to shut up about it.
I'm a little shy- but those who know me best know that is a characteristic that quickly fades. Going along with the quiet thing, I like to read. (The two usually seem to come hand-in-hand.) It is my favorite thing to do. I'm kind of addicted to it, especially the trashy romance novels. (And Cosmopolitan magazine!) I love to meet new people and find something interesting in everyone.
As for the guy I'd like to meet? I'd like someone who is serious, but not boring. Who knows how to relax, but is not a slacker. Who proves me wrong, but is not right all the time. Who is romantic, but not too sensitive. Who listens, but doesn't expect me to talk about my feelings all the time. But then again, I've always believed that when two people click all the likes and dislikes won't matter. :)
Oh, and 1 year ago I had the lap band surgery. I've lost 80 lbs and still have some to lose, so I would love being with someone who would help with the drive and motivation to help me keep it up!
